If you thought the older orion amps were mean this new line is meaner. The are powerful, flexible, user friendly and less expensive. I highly recommend.
This is the best amp I have ever owned. I am running it with a Kicker Solo Baric and it makes my eyes rattle. Make sure you use at least a 4 guage wire though, this amp has a high current draw.
I have this amp hooked up to 2 Hifonics Zeus 12" subs and it hits so hard that it rattles you eye balls and teeth. This is a great amp. I may have to order another one and run one to each sub for more bass!

I got this amp a year ago it's crazy I have it pushig 1 alpine typr r 12 in a slot ported box it dimmed my headlights had to up grade my wires small amp big power draw. In future 1more type r 1more 4002 ps buy it u'll love it bangs like crazy
Talk about bang for your buck! Not as good as the older models but Id definitely buy another... I like it.
I've used comparable old school orion 275 sx and 275 xtr and 225 hcca amps. This amp puts out every bit of 400 watts and sounds very clean and crisp. Although the frequency response and s/n ratio are lower than the older gen the difference is not noticeable.
