Product Reviews For Audiobahn AW1000Q

  • These speakers pound believe it. I bought 2 10 high excursions put them in a sealed box .66cuf 3/4 mdf in my 2000 honda accord powered by a punch 501s amp@2ohms about 250RMS a piece. These 10's hit better then 2 fosgate XLC 12' I used to own. Needless to say they found every rattle in my car. You must sound deaden your car next is dynamat xtreme for me then Ill push these woofers to there limit with a new amp 600RMS each I cant wait.:-) Audiobahn in my opinion is one of the most underated woofers of today.

  • I had a friend who had two of these subs hooked up to a punch 401s @ 200w rms each channel and they hit extremely hard. I recommend the fosgate amp/audiobahn sub combo. I just purchased my own pair online and I'm gonna hook it up to a power 851s amplifier with a 3 farad capacitor. i'm looking forward to hearing my system.

  • I've had one installed in a custom .75 cu. ft. sealed enclosure in my Tacoma for just over 1 year. It hits hard with my MTX 421D amp (421W RMS)! It sounded great until a couple weeks ago. It now cracks on loud bass hits, destroying the sound. I think the voice coil is going out. This should NOT happen on a fairly new sub that is designed to run 600w RMS and 1200w peak in a small sealed enclosure. I only have the gain at about 70% on the amp. I will never buy another audiobahn product again. They want me to pay ship it to them and pay for return shipping just to look at it. Just thought I'd give everyone a head's up. I also own 2 pairs of Audiobahn AS68Q speakers and I have gone through 4 tweeters due to broken internal wires.

  • My first "true" system had four of these speakers and until this very day I still have the last one from the day I bought them back in 2003. I had a 95' voyager and built a box for four 10s-1.25 cu. ft. per sub-with chambered walls and 7" ports (2" in dia.) I ran a Crossfire 1000d to them and caught a noise violation ticket. The cop was so mad because he heard every bass note with his window up. GOD bless Audiobahn! Buy these subs, run them with 400-500 watt amps (rms) and please make sure you have dynamat. If you install them right, your car will make sure you have a great day even if you just got evicted. I mean it. Pound the ground...hard.
