for the price that you pay for these subs its well worth it.the sound that they make is worth every penny.
If you want the bang for your buck, get these subs. A 400 watt or 500 watt amp is good enough to power these to hit hard. I had special made boxes for these in my trunk of my Mustang. Just make sure you wire them to hit the best on a 4 ohm spec. I'd do it all over again for the price and sound quality. This sub is for those on a budget but still want to sound good.
i got two under the seat of my ford f-150 extended cab and i can tell you they hit hard. their max power aint that hi but hey it dont need no more. sounds just as loud as the rest. i got a 1200w boss audio c700 amp pushin' them and the power dont even need to be turned all the way up. If you want sound for your money these are the way to go.
Got 2 of these bangin in my escort runnin on a 600 watt amp. They are ok but if youre looking for that bass that you can hear 50-60 feet away, these aren't it. Like Robert said, there max volume isn't that good but for the money I would suggest these. returned one and spent a extra 40 bucks for a 1000 watt 10" and it's one 2 contests already. Still have the one Rockford Fosgate but thats because no will buy it.
Just bought 2 of these and a mtx 500w amp had to have a special box made for my mustang though but for money im very happy sound quality is excellent. Any tips on what kind of box i should use i have a sealed box atm im new to all this
I bought two of these for $120.00 and I also bought a 800 watt amp and a custom box, and I put in a trunk of a 02 cougar and the sound quality is alright and it has a good bang for your buck
I had Two P1 12"s in my 02 Civic, with a kicker 500watt amp, for begginers they are great. They give you everything you need. Low spl, but with a little bit of fine tuning on the equalizer they sound decent. For around the same price i would go with the kicker comp.
i bought 2 of these and a punch 750 watt amp and put them in my 96 sunfire. I feel that for the money they sound pretty good but i suggest having a ported box, i started with a non port and tried the ported and the difference was amazing.great bang for ur buck.
These subs are well worth the money!!!! I put these subs in a slot ported box that i built with 1.925 cube/ft and have a p3001 driving them and i have them in a 1999 Peterbilt and they make the whole truck rattle with the bass up high... I recomend these highly
i replaced 2-12" pioneer entry level subs with one of these in a ported abndpass box after my stereo was stolen. It runs at 150W RMS wich is okay. If you are a bass junkie, its probably not gonna be your best sub, I would go with kenwood excelon or sony xplod which are rated at more watts. Its great sound quality, but not for conneseiurs, espesially if you put it in a ported box. If its sealed, its just not enough power to make you feel like you made the best choice. Otherwise, for the price, it makes a good sound for what you pay
i bought two of these from a friend n a xl2500 pheonix gold mono block amp. they r the best subs i ever had im pushin 250w through each speaker n completely blew the back window off of my 1995 honda civic hatch back. ther r the best bang for your buck!
I Bought one P-1 Running with a punch 200.2 bridge mono and it's insane it beats out my Uncles 1000 watt mtx system and it shakes my single cab 1-ton Truck. Good for Low Price
I have two of these subs in a sealed enclosure and all i can say is WOW!!! i actually blew a small hole in the corner of the box with these and it leaks air around the wire terminals! i'm upgrading to a ported box soon, and i might get two more of these!! ROCKFORD FOSGATE FTW!!!!
i have two of these and they sound so good i have a 1800w fostgate and the punishment they take is unreal i've had mine for about four years and had no problems with anything so get some and the price is great.
Damn i love these subs, I have 4 P1 12"s in my 99 Eclipse and I haven't found a system on the street that has beat it yet. These are awesome subs. Unfortunately i got them at best buy so i paid full price a few years ago, but if i was on here, i probably would've gotten 4 P2's or 3's since it's so cheap. Sounds insane, but its a show system and sponsored. Not the average persons system
I bought 2 of these from my local bestbuy and so far these have givin me what i need.... I am running them off a kenwood 800w amp in my 05 durango. I am extremely impressed by the sound quality(ive never had a bass note they cant hit)... If ur looking for block shaking base i would either buy 4 of these or get a different sub
