Product Reviews For Pioneer TS-A6981R

  • I HAD THESE SPEAKERS FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS WHEN I HOOKED THEM UP THEY WERE FINE UNTIL THE TWEETERS BLEW. I USE A POWER ACOUSTIK GOTHIC SERIES 4-CHANNEL AMP FOR MY MIDS and HIGHS. THE AMP WAS UNDER HALF POWER, POWER MAY BE OVERATED SOMEWHAT ON THESE SPEAKERS.

  • Very impressed with them! There is a huge difference from the stock speakers, especailly when there is bass or high pitch. I would recommend this to a friend.

  • sound a bit harsh in the midrange but with some eq tweaking it can be taken care of. with a proper install and power requirements they will get much louder than anyone should listen to music. had some slight problems with tinsel slap but i was driving them full range without a subwoofer at approx 75wrms per speaker.

  • I'm on my second pair of these speakers. My first pair I blew in about 5 min. I had a 520 watt amp hooked up to them with the bass up.... bad idea, but my new pair are great. If you do amp them you'll need subs.
