The amp is rated to produce about 900 watts rms, but it still doesn't even compare to my 500/1 JL amp. I guess it's not a bad amp if you want to power a low grade subwoofer, but if you're trying to power a W7 or L7 it's pretty much useless.
Not that bad of an amplifier for the price. If you look around you might find better.
I love this amp. The salesperson for some reason wanted me to get cheaper Rockford fosgate ones, but this one sounded better in the showroom. This amp has no problem powering 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 inch. The bass is clear and crisp.
i have had this amp for 2 months now. I have it hooked up to 4 12's and no problems at all its hooked to aw121t audiobahns rated 550 rms each . thing slams for the money
pushing single 12" kenwood subwoofer with the Kenwood 1800 W peak amp with eash, and i have that extra power if i ever upgrade to a more powerful sub or multiple subs
excellent sq but doesn't feel nearly as powerful as its rated. its never overheated driven as hard as it can behind the seat of my regular cab truck. output is decent but sq is definately its strong point
I have this amp pushing 2 kickers 15's so far I'm turing heads.
Definitly one of the best amps that I have ever had for the price. I am powering two kicker L5 2-ohm and it hits real hard. Lets just say that I had a headache within the first 15 minutes of listenin to it.
For the price this amp cant be beat. I have it hooked up to 2 12" kicker XPL's and it's kickin' the crap out of 'em.
This is a hard hitting amp for that will sound good on a L5 Kicker 12' speaker. I have the exact same system and this amp has no problem pushing out the bass!!
I really love this amp!!I have this hooked up to 2 blaupunkt 12" subwoofers, and is slams!! I just really wish it had a fan so it wouldnt overheat.
Pushing 2 MTX 10" T5510-04 in a sealed box, hits VERY hard, remote boost is very nice and having the settings under the panel is a good feature if your have people that like to change things. Shipped from CA to PA in 5 days for free, no complaints. Can't wait to see what other products I buy from here.
i got this hooked up to 2 kicker cvr 12's, fosgate 1 farad digital cap and a epicenter, believe me this amp make the cvr's work! i havent had any problems with the amp(heating up, turning off' blown fuses)even with a full dynamat kit install my car still rattles with it. considering you only pay about 160.00 you cant get more for the buck.
I really love this amp!!!the features are good, i really like the bass control knob for up front... I have this pushing 2 audiobahn aw1206t's and it slams!!!i just wish it had a fan...really good amp for the price!
Pretty good amp for the price. I'm pushing two Punch P3's. I wasn't sure about this amp because Kenwood is a better choice for head units and interior speakers. I've never heard anyone brag about a Kenwood amp but I guess I'll be the first. My rear view mirror fell off. But, other than that the SQ is good and I think the remote is excellent. Good amp for starters.
i got this amp from a local store for bout 265$ so this is a awesome deal. i got it pumpin 2 12inch memphis PRs and 2 10inch rockford hi3s. they get down. hasnt overheated once or gone into protection. wood be nice to have a fan just in case. great buy on here. it'll push almost any sub.
this is the best amp wether you are powering two type rs are a 4 ohm loud or one type x at at a 2 ohms loud runing at a 1ohm loud it getts really hot and the altranator on the car cant keep up so the amp will shut down until there is a enough power in the battery so if you are using the stock altranator and plan on runing at a 1 ohm loud it dont work to well besides taht this is a great amp
good amp! i have the 9102D version.100watts less and no remote bass knob. i have two pushing two mtx 7512-04s and they get loud. too loud actually. I have these in a reg cab chevy truck. I had one ported and it hurt my ears so i put the two in sealed and its worse...but i dont really like my ears so its ok. anyways these subs are maxed out and sound slightly distorted. not sure if i can blame the amps or the subs. i will eventually try some other subs on those amps but for now...great amp. lots of power for a good price but might be suspect to distortion at high volumes.
This is a realy good amp im currently pushing two cvr 12s in a ported rt box with a stinger one farad cap.realy good spl very hard hitting only complaint is overheating in my trunk orderd a 8inch cooling fan hopefully it should do the trick, if not im going with a kicker
i have this pushing two pioneer 1000w subs that have 400rms eachand is very loud and im using a 1.2 fraud capacitor for use with high notes so amp doesnt turn off
If you want the neighborhood to hear you pullin up then this amp right here will make sure you wake everybody up but make sure you get some good subwoofers
PRIOR TO BUYING THIS AMP I HAD HOOKED UP A JL 1000W X1 AMP TO MY L7 SOLOBARICS. THEY HIT HARD BUT NOT HARD ENOUGH. I NEEDED A STRONGER AMP. JL AMPS ARE THE WAY TO GO,WHEN YOU CAN AFFORD IT ARE LOOKING AT ABOUT A DOLLAR A WATT WITH JL (1,500 WATTS = $1,500) I GOT BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH MY MONEY. I THEN CAME ACROSS THIS KENWOOD AMP AND CHANCED IT. THE BASS IN MY 2004 MAXIMA IS OFF THE CHARTS THANKS TO THE KAC9152D AMP AND MY SOLOBARIC SPEAKERS. I DID HAVE PROBLEMS IN THE BEGINNING WITH MY AMP SHUTTING OFF ,BUT I CHANGED MY POWER WIRE FROM A 8 TO A 4 GUAGE. THIS IS A POWERFUL AMP AND YOU NEED LARGE POWER WIRES. MY MUSIC HAS NOT SHUT DOWN SINCE. NICE CRISP CLEAR BASS. I AM GOING KENWOOD TO PUSH MY INTERIORS. YOU MOSDEF GET A BANG FOR YOUR BUCK AND FOR ALOT LESS.
i got this amp hooked up to 2 alpine type r subwoofers this amp is great and very easy to hook up provided plunty of power and ocs is the cheapest for this amp great buy!!!!
I have got to say this is the best deal on my sound system I have gotten so far. I bought this to power my JL 10w6v2 which has an rms of 400 at 4 0hms so I power it with this bad bow with the 500 at 4 ohms and it slams that thing. I just hope it doesn't blow it. Kind of bulky in size though...only draw back. Simplistic which is nice also
CHEAP for this much power. Pushing two KICKER CVR 2 ohm 12`s at 900watts in a 2000 Ford F-250 extra cab(takes up the back seat) More than most people need. My neighbors here me turn on to my street 1/4 mile away and amp gain is only 20%. Best amp for the money!!!!
