I installed a pair of these along with a pair of 52.7i's in my corvette. In addition, I have an alpine head unit. I could not ask for a better sound. Kudos to Infinity for an excellent product. P.S. Have plenty of power on hand to really appreciate the sound.
I bought my car with blown out speakers, I had put in a few cheap bottom line speakers in just to kind of fill in, I only have the back 6x9's replaced with these and with the volume crancked up it changes the entire way my system sounds, the old speakers sounded horrible, these things can pound. I'm going infinity all the way.
I installed this in my friend 94' Corrolla. I had to cut new holes in the rear deck... but it was worth it in the end. They sound very nice, with great highs, mids, and good lows. There run off a Pioneer 3900 and sound good, can't wait to amp them.
I added a set of these to my '99 Accord after a year of only having the JL Audio XR650-csi's in the front. I always heard that 2 speakers in the front was sufficient (and even recommended to have a good "sound stage") but the addition of the 6x9s totally blew me away. The Infinitys come in loud, crisp, and clear and have totally added a new dimension to my music. All 4 speakers are hooked to the Alpine mrv-f345...very impressed.
I recently purchased a pair of these Infinity Kappa 692.7i speakers. I have them hooked up to a Crunch PZi 100.4 amplifier. This amp is now discontinued. The amp puts out 100W RMS which is more than enough to power these speakers. I also own a pair of Infinity Reference 9613i speakers ant the Kappas out perform them no contest. Great Speakers!
