  • These are amazing speakers. I have them powered by the JL Audio 450/4, giving each speaker 75 watts. They really rock in my RX-8 (After a small break-in period). You give these speakers the right amount of power and a clean signal you will not be disappointed. I was intially going to go with another (more expensive) set of speakers for my rear deck, but eventually decided on these and am really happy with my decision (Price and quality very good)

  • I replaced my Audiobahn Q69's with these infiniti but I was alittle disappointed with the bass response. The highs are ammazing. I would only reccomend these if you are adding a sub or 2 to your sound system and need clear mids and highs.

  • Purchased these speakers(6x9) not knowing exactly what to expect. I had not had the pleasure of testing them in an local audioshop or anything so I was a bit hesitant about purchasing them. So I did the next best thing... I had my fiance' purchase them for me, but I had only one regret....that I had not purchased them earlier. These are the best 6x9's I have ever had installed in my car, and I had alpine, rockford fosgate, clarion and even jl audio installed but none compare.

  • These speakers began an ambitious renovation plan for my car. I replaced the stock speakers in an older ford with these and the sound obviously improved a lot. I had to do some cutting to make them fit in the back, but I got them in without any major problems. I have not had any experience with other brands so I don't know a really good comparison in sound. They don't sound as rich as decent home audio speakers, but they cover the sound spectrum down to about 75-95 Hz when they're being run pretty loud. The rated specs have them down to 20, but listening to them with the music up loud they'll distort if the crossovers are set anywhere below 75 (I don't have any enclosures for the speakers, newer cars with better seals and acoustics will bring this down). There external crossovers are a little awkward to put anywhere, but if you're not into cosmetics they can just be shoved in a corner, or stuck to the metal around the speakers. Overall I've had nothing but good performance from these speakers. At the moment they're being run by an Alpine amp (the mrv 540 I think) at about 80 watts a channel at 4 ohms and that pushes them up to their limits. But without an amp they won't perform anywhere near their potential. This speakers sound great and they have been very reliable. Priced around $150 it's hard to find a much better product.

  • Ok i have these and a set of 5" 1/4 components in my 2001 alero and i couldn't be happier! the highs will hurt your ears! and the bass is wicked, put them in rear deck enclosures and you will drop down to the mid 30 Hz range if you amp them! I have the infinity A7541 4-channel amp giving them 139 watts rms and they sing! get these and you will be happy. the cross overs are a little bit of a problem to place but that is a samll price to pay for the sound that comes from these babies! get them get them get them! read that last sentence till you follow the instructions it gives you!

  • These speakers are loud!! I've got a pair running off of a Jensen 9312, and it kills. I'm getting ready to amp them to push them to full power. And they sound so clear and clean. No distortion. Great highs and great mids. The bass is good too.

  • This is a great 6x9. Just remember that they are mids...t made to have lots of bass. You will need a sub to fill the sound out. They are very crisp and clean. Best on the market. Make sure you power them up. I am using a Rockford Fosgate 450.4. Give them at lest RMS. The only reason I gave them a 9 overal is because they take some time to worm up if you live in a cold state. Best speakers I have ever owned.

  • Installed these on my 99 prelude. the installation was pretty simple. i just don't know where to install the crossovers so they are just hanging for now. i took out the stock amp as well. i dont have an aftermarket amp but im really excited about looking for one now. im getting the 63.7i's for the doors next. I wonder how the speakers would have sounded if i had left the stock amp in. but overall, great improvement on sound even tho the lows arent really hitting. i guess an amp would really bring the lows out in these speakers. the highs and mids are crisp and loud. im running them with a alpine cda-9851. sweet package. recommend.

  • I have these installed in a 08 kia spectra being pused by a Hifonics tx 6008. AND BOY DO THESE BOYS BLOW!!!! It was like a completely different system once I installed these speakers. They were getting about 300 watts a piece each and my frinds and I both found my system to be extremely oud. I then hooked up the Infintiy kappa component set to the Hifonics amp and they are still loud but the other speakers are pulling alot of power as well so they are overlapped by the front speakers now. Im currently thinking about upgrading to a ROCKFORD FOSGATE AMPLIFIER SYSTEM TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES.
