AWSOME!I bought these a couple days ago.before these i had 300watt M&K.The Infinity 1242w is 20 times better.deep bass,loud what more do you want?
They hit good, but not low bass. I had two hooked up to a 1500 mtx and it blew the wires off of them. So if u are going to get them then have a smaller amp like a 800 or something like that. If not u better have a warranty!!!
i've had these subs for a while and im pushin them with a boss 850 amp. they sound great they are very loud and they hit the lows pretty good. Theyre the best subs for the money i think.
Not a bad sub for the price, these subs are well worth the very low price. i have 2- 1242's in a 2000 Grand Am With a Memphis Dual Ported Box sounds great make sure u get no higher then a 1000Watt Amp, these are low RMS speakers, But still got a good bang for the buck and the SQ is great!
I bougt these speakers to replace a set of punch P3 12 inch woofers. What a good buy for the money. I'm hitting lower notes than ever before. Good quality for the money.
This is another great sub from Infinity. I give it a 9 on features because the cone doesn't seem entirely sturdy. I have had mine almost a year and no problems though. I have two that are being powered by a Kenwood KC7202. I have my amp turned up only halfway because I have no stiffening capacitor. But these subs act like they are getting all the power they need. Unlike a lot of other brands(Like Fosgate) these subs can hit the upper lows with the frequency respose up to 400Hz(Instead of most of Fosgates hitting only 200). They sound great for any type of music. If you want quality go with Infinity, if you want pure loud bass, go with Fosgate.
These subs are amazing for the money!! I have two in a 92' subaru legacy wagon hooked up to a 1000w Profile amp. They Pound. I have my gain at half and my bass on 0. I would reccommed these subs to anyone who is just starting up on a system.
