Product Reviews For Clarion DRZ9255-DUPLICATE

  • This CD player is amazing. I had the legendary SONY CDX-C90 that was stolen and I could not find a replacement and had to settle with this Clarion. It sonically outperformed the C90 in every aspect. Sound was not only louder, but more crisp and clean. There are more 'tweaking' features also but you need an absolute professional w/RTA to really unleash the power of this unit. Only drawback is the display can't give you much info. Also need to mention that I thought it was going to look cheap from the picture, but out of the box, this unit is beautifull! No gimicks-it delivers and is the cheapest 24-bit Burr-Brown unit on the market.

  • I have an older 9255; installed it in my '97 Accord in '99. I absolutely love it! Looks great, clean and classy, not glitzy and cheap. The sound is far and away the best I've ever had (at 52 yrs old, I've had quite a few). I wanted a unit with true high fidelity guts, rotary volume control and clean appearance without flashing, LED graphs, etc. I got it in spades! Note that the unit shows no wear and tear after eight years of use. Everything is completely legible...can't say that about a lot of other units out there.

  • I currently own this radio for soundquality competition and the sound by far is the best out of a handfull of high fidelity head units. No more need on any eq's,crossovers,or outboard proccessors.Just make sure you read the manual very carefully for tons of information and abilities this radio can do.
