Awesome speakers, I have 2 pair of them in my 2006 ford escape, they mix well with my kicker l7s. good buy.
great speaker just installed 2 in a single cab f150 and it sounds awesome no distortion and i can hear notes i have never heard before
I just installed a pair of these speakers and all I can say is purchase earmuffs. When hooked up to an amp these things can pound. My side view mirror vibrate when turned up loud. Not only are they loud but they sound great! Can't be the price either, free shipping and no tax = no brainer.
I have (2) sets of these installed is an F250, powered by a PDX-5. I have to say that at moderate volumes the sound is clear and precise however if you have a large sub-system then you might want to go with the 5-1/4 components. These tend to lose there SQ at higher listening levels, this is do doubt in part due to the oblong cone. Other then that they are a great deal for the $$!!
These speakers sound amazing. I have Alpine type Rs in the front and back through an Alpine amp and deck. Especially compared to my stock speakers..haha no contest. However, the front ones got blown out. These probably weren't meant too much for Metal music. They don't handle the unexpected super bass boosts in some of the music I listen to too well, but I am going to replace them and get some subs. Hopefully that will work better.
