  • this is an excellent amp if ur running a low-budget system. I suggest that you buy a 2 ohm subwoofer because it's rms power output at 2 ohms is 1800 watts while the rms at 4 ohms is only 900 watts. overall a very good amp

  • highly over rated!!!! k heres my setup: 2 12" audiobahns both are dual 4 ohm so i wired them in parallel to get a 1 ohm load and so i was using my hifonics (220 rms) and it was alright so i saw this amp and i figured it would be alright. Well i hooked it up and there was absolutely no improvement what so ever!!!! i am running 0 gauge wire and i have a 10 farad capacitor to it so its not the lack of power. the woofers are in a 4 vubic foot box so they pound with just 220 watts so why not with this little amp? cus it sucks!

  • It is a sad thing that some do not have the knowledge to speak correctly or have a correctly set up system. I have used all kinds of amplifiers and speakers and I will give an objective idea of this products abilities. First, It is not over rated and produces exactly what it says in terms of RMS and Peak power. Second, it does not matter what wire and cap you are using if the battery, alternator, ground, and connections are not up to par. BTW, this amp does not accept anything larger that 4awg wire for power/ground. I am using an Optima yellow-top @ 850CCA and an upgraded alternator running 150Amps. I have a 2 Farad Capacitor and monster 4awg power and ground ran directly to the battery. This amp is running two HiFonics Brutus B10D4 subs rated at 500W RMS / 1000 peak. These are wired together at 1 ohm to hit the amps most efficient level. It is EXTREMELY loud and WILL blow these subs if I turn it up too far. The gains are set low on the amp and the bass and sub levels on the deck are at 0 and -2 respectively. So far no problems and good sound. There are better out there but performance for dollar wise you can not go wrong.
