Have 2 of these in a bandpass box in my hatchback dodge omni.replaced 2 400w DUALS and these speakers are well worth it they thump loud and clear so loud i can be heard from 350yrds and thats crazy hope u buy these and enjoy only thing wrong is i should have got 12s. lol
We have 2 of these being powered by a Kenwood KAC-7202 Amp in a Suburban, also having a Kenwood head unit. These speakers definetly thump hard as in my other review on the amp we put our neighbors to shame. These speakers sound very clean,my personal opinion about the whole setup is it sounds so good because we have all matching components. The price for all of these things are great and we will be shopping here again in the near future for our other vehicle.
These subs are amazing!!! i have them hooked up in a 2003 nissan pathfinder with a kenwood kac-7202 amp.... the sound is great... people are surprised when they see that the sound is coming from 10 inch speakers... also in the car i have a kenwood dnx7100 a set of kenwood KFC-1679ie and a set of rockford fosgate P162S being pushed by another kac7202... the car sounds like a moving concert!
for the money these subs are well worth it. I have them hooked up to a briged rocksford fosgate p2002 amp and I got people turning heads. damn good subs

If your looking for depth and an unbeatable price the KFC-w2511 is not just what you want, its what you need. First off, I've never had trouble with Kenwood products and they don't sell low quality subs. Second, I bought two of these speakers and the 1,ooow Kenwood amp featured on this site and i get clear, consistent, deep bass. The structure of the speaker is also designed with an accurate RMS because if you observe the cone will only start to move when you greatly increase the signal. This means its very stable and would take a careless operator to blow. Personally, im putting a car audio system in my dorm room and i may invest in the 12" Kenwood model. I've recommended this site to many friends, and don't worry about customer service, they got you taken care of....
Not much cone movement which means less bass and these are not as deep as many other woofers. i had 2 orions running at 200 watts each and they pounded these things out in the sme box but these had 900 watts to them (yes they were being overpowered)
i really like my kenwood's. these things are great they hit well and they can withstand lots and lots of bass like the guy said before me the only mistake is i didnt get the 12's
got these for fathers day to put in my 99 suburban they wouldnt fit in the rear sude panels so i boxed them. im running a 1000w 4ch amp with 280w 6.25in speakers in all 4 doors 180w 4x10 in the far rear roof, any way i blew all the the speakers trying to keep up with the bass of those little ten inch kens. ya caint beat em! now im looking for mre highs
i put a pair of these in my new car and they sounded great with the kenwood mono amp i bought pushing 1000 watts rms. i had these for bout 4 months when one of them cracked for no reason but they are well worth the money and one stills rattles my car pretty good
I had three 10" kenwood typhoon type and i blew one so for now i bought one of these and it put the other 3 to shame so now i'm gonna buy 2 more of the new ones. GREEAT speaker
I bought 2 of these and put them into a sealed box I built. I've got a Kenwood Amp wired to them doing 500 rms @ 2 ohms. These things shake my '94 Volvo 850 just right. I'm not big into rap at all. I'm a hard core fan of metal (All That Remains, As I Lay Dying) and these subs bring all the songs to life. I can feel every single drum beat and I love it. Great buy! Awesome price!
these subs are great i have installed them in three diff vechicles. I put three behind the seat of a 79 chevy single cab and you could hear me from 3 blocks away and then i but 2 behind the seat of a 94 chevy single cab in ported boxes tuned to 22hz and wow is all i can say. Then today i went ahead and installed one in a custome band pass box in the trunk of a concorde and it still holds up to the wow factor buy these subs you will always get what your looking for just put them in a good box on a good amp.
I have one of these in a 65cj5 half cab in a big sealed box with a Rockford fosgate punch 600 amp and it hits hard it makes me sick and opens my doors i plan on buying another one
I have two of these in a 2000 jeep with a kenwood 1000watt amp and they hit HARD im planing on getting a better amp but for the time being im satisfied with this buy
What a price for a GOOD SUB. I use it for my mid bass in a seales .8 cuft box I built. I also have a bandpass with Infinity 10, Needed more mid bass and this works great on 300 watt Adcom. Buy a dozen or so lol, At this price. It loves music.
Believe it or not but today i got to see a pair of these subs crack the front window on a 92 chevy single cab pickup on a sony 800w 2ch amp with a pioneer head unit i was supprised i have never seen a pair of 10's hit this hard in my life

I HAVE 2 IN MY H3 WITH A FOSGATE T600-2 AMP POWERING THEM AND THEY SLAME GREAT BUY! WISH I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE 12'S THO. THE ARE SOME QUALITY 10'S.
Have 2 of these in the back of a '07 Scion tC powered with a kenwood 1000 watt 2 channel. I had to drop the gain to halfway because it was ratting my whole spoiler and the trunk is dynamatted. They destroy the 2 JL Audio 10w3's I had in before
bought this sub because of good reviews and price. had it for less than a month. didnt push it hard at all and it is already blown!
These subs sound great I put 2 in a sealed box with a 1600 watt soundstorm amp in my rx8 and I'm more than happy with how it sounds i listen to mostly rock/metal haste the day lamb of god stuff like that and these are perfect but they will also pound out lil wayne carter 3
I had one of these in running off of the Kenwood 8104D and it was pretty loud, but I started to smell it after just a couple weeks. Overall I had it for about 5 months and it was a pretty good sub, but eventually it did blow and I think it had been burning up slowly the whole time I had it. Well when it did blow, I unhooked it and checked the output of the amp with a voltmeter and it was pushing out over 50 Volts so I guess that's why I blew it. Overall, a pretty good sub but if you're trying to shake the block like I was at one point, you might blow it.
First things first, can't beat the price. These are a well designed woofer for the money and sound real well too. With a good amp and the right settings these woofers can sound as good as $200 kickers or Alpines. For someone on a budget...PERFECT
Great subs..... In the right box. I have had the chance to hear them in 2 vehicles and there is a tremendous difference in the sound quality. Box one was a non divided vehicle specific box with about 1.3 qubic feet in it.....sounds good at low volume but a little muddy up higher. Vehicle two has a divided custom box with .86 cubic feet each. sounds much cleared and way deeper than the other. Very satisfied.
I had one of these subs in an enclosed box anx it was powered by an alpine amp that pushes 300wrms x1 @4 ohms, which matches up with the wattage of the sub. The sub sounded great, hit pretty hard and i was very pleased with its performance. I did run it hard though, and 3 weeks after installing, i burned the voice coil so now it is trash. I think the alpine amp pushed more wattage than it was rated for though, and thats why it burned.
does anyone know if it comes with both 10s if it does this looks like an excellent price i have some regular kenwood speakers that have been holding up for yrs now playing highs and lows
Just got 2 of these in custom made sealed boxes. Let me tell you that these are some of the best subs Ive heard and you cant beat the price. You have to have the right box(es) though. I have them in my extra cab ford ranger and they shake my whole truck and Im still just breaking them in. Cant wait till I turn the gain up and see what they can really do. I have a 2 channel Kenwood KAC-7204 amp powering these and thats all you need. Let me say that these subs produce very clear base as well. Very pleased with the purchase I made. Yet again, Online Car Stereo comes through.
i just got two of these and the 1000 watt crunch amp in my 96 extended cab tacom.. I got two 1 cubic foot boxes and these things hit hard.. I got the kenwood headunit and 4 kenwood door speakers and it all just sounds amazing.. If u get the amp adjustd right these things will pound hard.. think im gona putm2 more of these in with another 1000wt amp just to get that earbustin sound! i wud recomend these
bottsy From selinsgrove. if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. ib the title it says 10" 1000w 4-ohm SUBWOOFER. meaning single, the picture is just showing two sides of it. but spend 90 bucks buy both of these, they are trully great subwoofers, if you want good quality bass.
