Product Reviews For Pioneer Premier TS-W1207D4

  • overall the sub is good for the money it hits hard than my fosgate P2's but it doesnt sound good for the mid or high bass notes only the low ones, if money is an issue i would get this sub but if not rockford fosgate all the way either t1's ot t2's is the way to go

  • These speakers have the best quality and lowest bass I've heard from a system so far. Their built like a tank. If your an audio enthusiast, these subs are excellent. i have only 1 channel hooked up on each of the 2 of these I have in my trunk. You can hear me for 2 blocks. Pioneer has been the best for years and they haven't stopped impressing me yet.

  • Wow, this sub really impressed me. I have it wired for 2ohms to a Boss GT1000M 200W RMS (at 4 ohm not 2) and it really sounds amazing. I guestimate it's only receiving 200-250w total and yet it's still enough power to send that cone out a good inch or so. Only bad thing so far is it makes a loud knocking noise at certain high volume low frequencies.

  • I'm back for more! got 2 of these in 06' and now i'm back for 2 more. when these are wired right, they deliver deep clean bass. takes a beating too...subs max all the time and just keep hittin'. even survived 5 degree weather in the winter. I run em hard on the way to skool and i love em!

  • Purchased one a year ago, and finally found the time to build an enclosure for it. 1.3 cubic ft. sealed, down firing in an extended cab ranger, powered by a rockford fosgate 300a1 amp pushing 380w rms. Sounds fantastic, hits the low notes very loud and clear. Only problem is now I need to invest in sound deadening material for my truck!

  • The more I run em, the better they sound.. Not yet thumping enough to get me pulled over, could be I dont have a good box to put it in, not tuned right, not wired right or the truck I drive.. Overall: Extremely Worth It

  • Pioneer just never ceases to amaze. I have two of these installed in a custom box powered by a hifonics brutus amp at 1 ohm. They bang incredibly hard, had to turn them down almost all the way because they're just that loud!

  • Wow, for $65 can't beat it. I got two and just ordered a Brutus 1606D amp to push them, kept blowing the two 25A fuses in my MTX and the speakers weren't close to peaking, very happy with pioneer can't wait for the money to upgrade to the pro series 3000 watters.

  • over all the sub is very well built, a little cheapo with the plastic magnet cover though. i got this beasty running off an Insignia NS-A1000. got the amp for $90 at Best Buy. now that i see OCS i wish i would have shoped here. cheaper, better stuff. anyhow got the two 40hm VCs in parellel running off the amp at 2ohms, 320w continuous + a Q Lodgic ported box. this sub needs a ported box, sounds ten times better. great buy, i think it sounds better than a Alpine typer R. that's just me though. and i do LOVE Alpine stuff.

  • just got 2 of them. Wired up to a legacy 800w amp at 4 ohm in a f-150 ext cab. In a ported box. They pound but I think I need a bigger amp. My ears ring by the time I get to work. Highly recommend. I am really impressed with what they can handle.

  • Im so impressed by the sound they put out. I am also impressed by the way they wont heat up. Some subs might get warm but these stay cool therefore i never worry about over heating.

  • I have three of these hooked up to a sound storm 1200W amplifier along with a 2.o farad soundstorem capacitor, in my 1995 ford explorer. These subs hit hard!!! I have had complaints with neighbors that they can here me in my drive way. over all these subs are worth $65.00 and i highly recommend them.

  • Very satisfied with this sub's performance. For the price, cant be beat. Running 2 dvc 4 ohm subs only at 4 ohms for now with a hifonics 1608d(only around 550 watts @ 4 ohm). As far as the overall performance, 5 out of 5. Give them around the rms rating with good clean power and they slam, especially in a custom ported box. For the price, U won't regret. Gr8 starter sub. And we all have heard... "U get what u pay for".. in this case U actually come out on top. Also, much respect to OCS, great service as well as prices... Thanks

  • i bought these back in october for the same price shown. $65 pc. i have them bridged to 1 ohm to a 1600 watt planet audio amp. first day i tested them out. they hit so hard my alternator started squeeling from all the power being pulled. they rattled my mirror off. they maxed out at 160 dessibles. id say these are most definately the biggest bang for the buck

  • i just put one of these into my 2005 frontier hooked up to a kenwood 1000watt 500watt RMS amp running the sub at 2ohms and you can hear me coming from 1/2 mile in my house with out bass boost on and my amp set to 1 so deff most bang for your buck! recomend to anyone looking for a hard hitting sub for low cost!

  • I recently installed 2 of these in a spec built ported box, and they sound incredible! Extreme sound quality and excellent bass delivery! If your looking for an awesome system on a budget, these subs are worth every penny! Even on 1000 watts RMS for the 2 of them, they still stay cool. Pioneer FTW!

  • I bought 2 of these in Feb of 2009 here it is bout 4-5 months L8R an there both done. They hit alright but it wuz never really all that clean. I wuz hoping for more quality from Pioneer they are a household name but in the car audio industry I only really trust Rockford and JL audio tried to take the cheaper way out now I'll pay for the best. You should 2 just lookin out........
