  • This is a great sub. Everybody that I know brags about how loud their sub sounds and the deal that they got on it. When I turn my sub and sony 800w amp on they ask how much it cost, b/c it sounds great and hits hard, and it turns out it cost less than what they paid for theirs.

  • I got two of these, and at first I had them in a sealed box, and i wasn't too impressed. They sounded great at moderate volume, but too loud there was some distortion. However I recently put them in a bigger, vented enclosure and they hit HARD. Couldn't be happier, well unless someone gave me 2 FI BTL's for the same price that I paid for my sony's ;)

  • I used to have 2 of these in a sealed box with an Alpine M-450 Amp and these things hit pretty well. It's not as deep or loud as what i wanted though, so i sold them and bought a couple of Boston G5's :) I know a lot of people hate on sony and say its a bad brand but i hit deeper than my friend with 2 12" Kicker CVR's and another friend with 2 12" MTX 5500's. Especially for only $59.99, i'd recommend these to anyone looking to add bass to their factory system.

  • I bought this sub as just a lil set up because my other system got ripped off and this sub did the job for about a month before it blew. I only was giving it about 300 watts in a sealed box. I was disappointed with it.

  • I have this sub in a sealed enclosure with a MTX TC2002 giving it 200Watts RMS, and it beats out Punch P3's no problem. With the proper tuning and realization that you shouldn't even just plug in a sub and expect it to be the best, this sub won't let you down

  • Allright heres the deal, i got the same subs but they are the red ones, i dont know if theres a difference, but i had 2 of these babies in a closed box separate enclosers and they are bad azz. I only have them hooked up to a 400 wat jlb amp, and they hit hard, then i bridged my amp, and they hit about a quarter harder then i bridged the speakers them selves and they hit about the same but now they are down to 2ohms. So now im hookin them up to a Kennwood 1000 wat and i have good reason they will bump better than anything ive ever heard. Oh and by the way i got both twelves mint condition in a sealed box for only a small $100. I havent been dissapointed yet and i dont think i will be. Prolly the best "BUMP" for your buck if u know what i meen!!!

  • These speakers rock. I have 3 of them in my 97' Grand Marquis on a MTX Thunder and A MTX Blue Thunder amps. These things kill. I cant hear myself talk when the music is on. i have to get an amp for my hi's because i cant turn my cd player up past 15, and the max is 46. When i first hooked them up is shut my fuel pump off everytime i get it hit a hard drop. and they are really worth the value. 60 bucks a peice. cant beat it

  • one of my friends had 2 of these except the red colored ones. he had them wired to a 450 mono block amp and he could rattle the bottles on top of the entertainment center of my freidns house when he pulled up.they hit so hard that i filled a 1 liter pepsi bottle FULL of water and put it on his cab and the system would still make it dance on the top of his cab.

  • honestly, any retard that puts a sub that moves that much air in an un-ported box deserves to blow them! With higher wattage subwoofers you must have a way for the subs to ventilate!
