on pure output I rate this woofer a 10+. I had the older version of these (2 of them) in a 7ft^3 ported box of of the biggest amp visonik makes (pushes 2000x2 rms at 1ohm stereo) thats right 2000 per driver and they took it. Loudest setup I have ever had. SQ isnt great but pure loudness was insane. I recently bought 1 of the newer model and put it in my acura with a 3.5ft^3 ported box with a 1500 watt hifonics amp and it was extremely loud. However with going from a paper cone to a composite cone the woofer cannot handle the power it once could. After about 20 hours of use it developed a rattle witch I suspect was a loose lead rattling on the back of the cone/cap. SPL wise it was a 142db setup on a certified mike. If your gonna buy this beast make sure you underpower it alittle to get a long life out of it!
These subs knock hard... Overall this sub pounds but lacks a lot in sound quality. I have two of these in a custom ported box with a 2000 watt hifonics brutus amp pushing all 2000 watts with no problem and hifonics makes great amps oone of the best out there. These two subs at 2000 pure watts busted my hatch window in my probe and at 1000 watts they make my whole body vibrate. I would recomend these subs to someone who wants to strictly pound em out but theres a little losesness in the sub and it kills the sound quality.
