I just bought this reciever and i couldn't be happier! It blow away the Kenwood I had. I also bought the ipod cable with it, wow what clarity I got out of my music!
I just bought this receiver and it is amazing!!!!! I clarity is astounding especially for an Ipod I did a lot of research with many receivers for real time Ipod action and clarity and this blows the others away. i am will be adding new Alpine speakers and an Alpine amp to the receiver and I can't wait to hear the sound quality.
I put this into my 2004 hyundai accent. i have 6.5" alpine s types in the back and 6.5" type r components in the front. and trust me, this deck gives the speakers the justice they deserve. i think it looks sleek and i have the full speed ipod hookup. you can really tell the difference when you are scrolling and searching (which is the easiest ipod searching i have ever used). they're many products out there that you can buy, but when it comes to alpine stuff, you get good quality all the time
This is a great receiver to play your Ipod music in the car.just hook up the ipod cable .quick search control all the music in the Ipod,song title,singer etc.easy to control.build quality is good.They function that i like is that,you can had two setting of bass and treble ,one for the radio and the others playing of CD .EQ is simple and easy to tune up your system. great sound quality.
Just bought it and love it, sq is so much better than the pioneer i had before. paid 150 for it new and was worth every cent. alot of usefull features.
This has to be one of the best headunits out there. It's unbeatable for the price. You get the great Alpine product for a reasonable price. This product, along with Alpine speakers provides some of the best audio sound you can get. Great product!
This deck is MUCH better than my previous deck (Kenwood). It sounds better, plus I don't have to jerry rig the speaker wires to my amp, just two pairs of RCA cable straight to the amp.
just got a Alpine CDA-9883 and couldn't be more happier. with this head unit connect to some MB QUART (QM1269KX)they make really good music. always a big fan of alpine.
Outstanding deck. I have it installed in my liberty with an amp for my highs and another for my subs. Sounds increadible, my only complaint is that there is not much to work with as far as the EQ goes. But Absolutely a steal for the price, especially if you own an ipod or sirius with i.
This Unit is a 10. I just had in installed in my Car today. Anybody who said your IPOD is lower than you cd's or Sirius does not have a installer who knows what he is doing. I am running a 5 channel Alpine and 12"JL Sub. This will rock anything you listen too. My car feels like it has a brand new life
I just recently got this deck and i am impressed with the power most of all. WAY too many watts for my factory door speakers so now i have to upgrade those. At least i won't need another amp. The bass boost 0 - 15 allows me to really get the 12W7 going too. The sound clarity on the iPod depends on the bitrate of the song you downloaded but anything 128 kbps and above sounds like CD. Couldn't bare the FM radio wave iPod adapter those are junk you need the 30 dollar KCI cable and this deck. Top notch cd player for the money.
The option for iPod controls (with the right cable) on the head unit is an awesome option; really easy to control menus. I previously had a $400+ dollar JVC head unit and the sound quality on this head unit is a definite improvement over the JVC. Crystal clear sound now, and a steal on this website this is a great stereo I love it.
Sound quality and feel is best! Warm and not over exaggerated. This unit is great if you are running stock speakers, if you upgrade, you must get an amp to fully hear what it can do. Display is hard to read in daylight. A real EQ would have been nice, but rarely needed.
This radio is great i had a pioneer 9800bt in my van i always had a whining noise going to my amp.. i replaced it with this alpine problem solved clear and loud really rocks my subs if you want beauty get a pioneer if you want quality get a alpine
I have had this unit for six months and I could not have been more happy with it. I have two amps hooked up to it, one for my speakers and one for my subs, this deck makes them pound. Really a steal for the price!!
well this is my very firt deck for my very first ride. i like that it has 3 pre amp outs. also like the ipod ability. one thing though, the users guide says that the deck will not suport 3rd 2nd or 1st gen ipods. it's lying because my 2nd gen works fine. you don't really need and amp though, it's PLENTY loud. well it might not be but all my speaker are type R's too so that might be why it sound loud with deck power. over all, as many siad before me, "you can't go wrong with Alpine or OCS!
Great deck. Very pleased with it. Fairly easy installation. Hooked up the iPOD cable to it and also the bluetooth unit. Bluetooth works well, havent figured out how to sync my phonebook in my cell phone to the unit itself but then again, i havent had the time to sit down and figure it out. iPOD cable works very well also. Highly recommended for a first deck. Good price as well.
