  • these are pretty good subs, ive got two of them in a comp. ported box running on a Infinity Reference 611a. im hitting about 130.7 db. i just got a kicker zr1000 so ill have to upgrade subs. overall they are nice, good sound in either small sealed or big ported box. dont hit lows very good though, i think with my old setup the lowest they would go was 15 HZ.

  • I had 2 of these in a honda civic hooked up to a kenwood amp and they hit but there isnt anything really special about them. You can hear them down the street and thats about it.

  • i just got this speaker and added it to my collection and to the guy who says they dont hit the lows obviously you have them in a crap box this thing is comparible to my 15" cvr as far as hitting lows and this thing handles a good 3 400 watts more than its rated rms i DEFFINITLY reccomend these if you are short on cash im ordering another with my next pay check

  • i just put 2 of these in a friends car on a 1000w kenwood amp wired to 4 ohms and they are extremely loud for only being about 300watts to both subs.. deffinitly sound very good.. but you could probably get just as goo stuff for the price.

  • I have this in a 5.3 cuFT single slot ported box and the SPL on these subs are crazy for only 225W I was pushing per sub. Everyone thinks I was pushing at least 1,000w. The sound is also very crisp I get complements all the time. These with some kappa tweeters and you'll be in heaven.

  • Well this was the first system I ever had. I had 2 of these speakers wired into my Infinity 1600a Amp. (600w RMS). It sounded great. I had alot of problems but it was probably related to me (first system, wasnt quite pro at all). ended up ruining that amp and getting a Kicker 750.1. It ran good. It was a bit to powerful (rated at 926RMS) and blew the speakers. Not quite the best but great for a first system or if you dont like bass THAT much. now im moving on to 2000w+ systems. Good buy, if your thinkin about it go ahead! i couldnt reccomend anything else.

  • I HAVE 2 INFINITY REFERENCE 1252W IN A 92 EXT.S-10 POWERED BY 2 INFINITY 1600A AMPS. THEY SOUND GREAT BUT I SMOKED 1 OF THE SUBS JUST AFTER 2 WEEKS. THE OTHER 1 PLAYS FINE. I'M UP GRADING TO THE INFINITY KAPPA PERFCT 12dQ.

  • Bought one of these around a year ago. It's a decent sub. handles power well. Sound quality is good and bass is tight due to lower XMAX. I've had better luck with other brands for less but its a good sub. If your looking for an Infinity that sounds good, this one is great. If your looking for hardcore bass, this doesn't qualify as well.

  • i got this as my first sub in a 96 corolla, and its great! even though its in a home made sealed box, it still sounded great and crisp. its powered by a crunch 900.4 but it only takes in half the power coz its a 4 channel amp that i tried to make a mono out of so the dual coil feature dint work with the 4 channel feature. still, with half the power, it still rocks the car. you cant hear me before you see me though haha.. overall, great sub!

  • When I first bought these subs I was running them with a 800W Mono Amp and I thought these things were cheap and weak but once I got a new Kenwood 1800W Mono Amp these thing really REALLY hit hard and the lows are very stable on long bass line theres no fluctuating in sound just nice solid sound. This is a great buy at a awesome price! And I've had them for 3 yrs!

  • I bought one of these on ebay for like 20 dollars in the box, I put it in a small sealed encloser .88 cu with polyfill and this thing sounds very nice. Really has the deep bass extension. I am buying another one asap. I have the one runnning at 2 ohms and 900 watts with a hifonincs 1205D amp. If you set your xover and filters properly these are top quality subs for a little money. Worth every penny.

  • I bought 2 of these infinity subs, and i have to say it was money well spent. I set up the system myself. They are hooked up to a 2000 watt xplore amp, and an equalizer to maximize potential. The lows are crisp and clean, and the high's are earbusting. People look at my little car, and they think damn that beat is comming out of that? These subs can beat 2 rokford P3's easily. Buy them i pomise you will be impressed.

  • best subs ive ever had in my life time. of course thats only been 19 yrs but these subs r amazing for the money without a doubt. i have 2 hooked up in the back of my 01 ranger extended cab and they thump right behind me. its not too loud but the bass is just right and can make any song sound good whether you listen to country, rap, rock, or whatever it is you desire to listen to it will give you a quality sound as long as you have bass control.
