I got these sub install Wednesday 6/25/08 in 08 Honda Civic Si. The box is port and the amp is a 1500 watt class D amp.These hit like no other. I still have my stock deck and it still sounds good. The volume on 15 makes my door panel flex. I planning to get a new deck to make it sound better later on in the year and a 2400 watt amp.
i bought two of these speakers ive had them for three weeks with a 1000 watt volfenhag amp, and ive already have to send them both back, one of the the rubber just came aloose and tha other one still work but it smokes they are not wat you want if you want some good subwoofers, they sound good until they tear up
I bought two of these for $340.00 and it has been the best investment I could have made! I used to run Alpine Type R's and these sounded sooo much louder, deeper, and much much more cleaner off the same amplifier!! The more I play them the louder they seem to get(time to break them in) Running 900 watts rms and 1800 max off the amplifier. Sound great, look great, awesome subwoofer, very comparable to mid-high range subwoofers! Ive used alpine/kenwood/kicker/infinity/jbl etc
