Awesome batteries. I am using a 1400 for my starting battery and an 800 for auxilliary with a 200 amp alternator. I have a 750 watt Alpins sound system and my lights never even remotely change brightness. They are smaller and lighter than an optima and so far have easily withstood heat over 100 degrees and temp as low as 18 with no problems.
i have this as my starting battery and sounds sysytem in a 2007 camry xle with two l7 kickers and 1200.1 amp. Man jesus can hear comin'. paid $150.. for it.
I bought one to replace my starting battery and I am really impressed. I can play my music at medium level for over 30 minutes and the voltage only drops by .5 volts,a stock battery would be long ago dead. I had to remove my original battery tray because this is smaller than my stock battery, but I mounted brackets to secure it. I would recommend this battery for any one that wants to have a high performance battery that won't die on you.
I got one of these batteries and it increase my power so much, Im running 2 JL 12 w7s on a RF p1000.1 as well as my highs amp. No more dim lights great battery! Although if your doin over 1500 Rms you might wanna step up to the 2400. I know i will once i get my AQ2200d and run 1/0awg wiring.
So far it has improved everything.. My car feels like its gotten new power.. Running a Kenwood 200x2 and JL Audio 500/1 and stock alternator so far.. Will be upgrading sub amp soon hopefully...
This battery has really impressed me, that's NOT an easy feat cosidering I'm an avid fisherman and have 2 boats that have 36 volt trolling motor systems, so I've had my share of deep cycle/marine/RV batteries over the years. I was using a brand by the name of Trolling Thunder under the hood of my truck for years as it was the first AGM style battery that I tried and really liked. Optima batteries are over-hyped and not worth 1/2 their price IMO. These Kinetic batteries are just plain awesome!! For a battery this small to be packing 1400 ca and 1000 cca is unbelieveble! To get that power you usually need atleast a group 27 if not a group 31 battery, these are actually smaller and lighter than than a group 24 but last just as long as any group 31 I have owned. I'm actually going to replace the batteries in my river boats trolling motor set up when the current batteries die, as a guide I'm allways looking for an edge over my competition and if I can offer my clients and extra hour or so on the water due to these batteries they are worth every penny. Also, The system in my truck is 1900watts RMS, I have one of these 1400 batteries, a 175 amp alternator, and 10 Farad Rockford Fosgate Hybrid capacitor running through 0 gauge Sweetwires wire, my lights never dim and the voltage rarely seems to drop below 13.4 volts.
Very happy with my purchase of this product. My lights no longer dimm.
For it being my first add on battery. Over all it was a great purchase, it really made a difference. Starting with my headlights they stopped dimming down to the beat of the bass and the quality of the sound from the amplifier also increased. I would recommend it for a small setup. The only dislike is that the post terminals screw on to the battery which cause them to get lose if not tighten well.
