I had one of these hooked up to a plant audio 1900 watt monoblock amp. Hits insanely loud with the amp only being up about a quarter. I sold it but nothin has been better since.
I bought this sub because its a good price for a sub with this much power. I made a custom ported box for it, and im useing the boss 1800watt mono block amp which I also bought from here, im pushing 900watts rms @ 4ohms and let me tell you this thing pounds so hard my moonroof vibrates with it closed. It doesnt hit the high notes because its freq. response is only 12-350 hz, but it does the lows better than anything I have ever heard. If you want good, clean deep bass, this is the sub you want. My friends cant believe how good it sounds.
These subwoofers are some serious equipment. and it will do the power it claims to handle, hooken these up to a 2000w solid audio 2ch amp @4ohm load, is producing bass deep enough to keep knocking my tire rack off my bronco 2. and im pushing around 151db's with 1 of these in my own personal box, gnar stuff man.
this sub is greattt it produces a ton of bass. it hits almost all bass other than the high bass which all it will do is rattle your car. i used to have a sound storm 60 dollar sub and let me tell you this is wayyyyy better than that sub it is well worth the money
