Dynamite comes in small packages these days. more than enough to push my 12" stealth series 1200w/max dvc sub @ 2ohms to its limits and got it in less than 2 weeks
AMAZING amp! I have a MA audio 15" sub wired to this amp at 2 ohms and it PPOUNDS! Then I looked closer at the amp and found a switch that said "8v" and "2v". It was on 8v, so I switched it to 2v, and...oh my god. My eyes are gonna fall out! I would totally recommend this amp!! (By the way I am using 8 gauge wiring to a distribution block, and then 4 gauge from the block to the cap to the battery)
Hooked it up to 2 12" 600w subs in a ported box sounds great they pound at half power the only thing is the amp gets pretty hot but it hasn't effected the performance so im happy
I wasn't expecting a whole lot for 90 bucks, but the reviews sounded good. I am more than impressed. I push a 1000 watt 10 to capacity at half gain. I keep it hitting all the time, and the amp is only moderately warm. Love the adjustable gain.
Thought this wasn't gonna do much but wow, I was surprised it got the job done. Worked well, I would recommend for the price.
this was the worst amp i ever owned... the quality is terrible totally a waste of money and time. dont even keep up with the beat just awhole lot of noise
I'm going to give to the real down low on this amp. I'v had this amp for over 5 years now, powered by a 280 amp alt with BIG 3 upgrade and 2 batteries with "TRUE copper 0 GAUGE WIRE" (telling you what i'm powering it with so you guys know if you have all stock you will never see this kinds power from this amp) I'm pushing 3 12's Alpine Type X. It doesn't really beat them much but they sound good very deep bass. Iv never needed much more then this amp as I'm old and don't need it up to much. I did a clamp test it was pushing 490 true watts at 2 Ohm 14.4 volts . So it's not rated by any means but for the money I'd buy it again. 5 years pushing way more woofers then it was ever made for at 1 ohm and it's still going strong. All in all it's been pushed with all I could give it for up to 3 hours at 1 ohm and held up. it got hot but it didn't shut off. This little amp has held up to other entry level amps like boss 1400 watt. So for you guys out there with very little money who just want an okay entry level amp this is the amp for you. That being said, Today I got a my old Orion 2500D back from a friend. and I see just how bad this ssl amp really is. Putting the Orion 2500D in the car was night and day. Orion is so much cleaner sounding. Much, much cleaner bass then that poor little ssl could have ever put out. So if you looking for a really hard hitting amp Orion all the way. if your working with all stock power little money and some entry level woofers this amp will bang all day for you.
