the EQ is ok, I was expecting more from clarion, this is what i don't like and this is why i rated it so low. I don't like the fact that i have to connect my mp3 directly to it. I can no longer get sound via my radio aux. I don't like the fact that i have gains on the aux. I should've looked around for a better EQ.
I bought this EQ a couple of years ago and was happy with it.Very good sound,has a high output Volt rating of like 7 v which can be more than some amps are rated for in their input specs,it can make them sound a little muddy volume knob on the EQ cranked but the extra voltage is a good boost. Draw backs are that it has only one setting at a time cause it is a analog EQ and one back light color,a not too annoying but standard Blue.Overall though this is a Very Good sounding EQ for the money and one of the better for sure in the Analog line up.

This EQ worked for me because I hate IPOD. I have a MP3 player and a stock CD player hooked to it. The 50Hz knob would be more ideal @ 35Hz, but overall, its pretty clean and reliable so far.
