Product Reviews For JVC KD-R810

  • Mic is very cheap, bought this to use for hands-free, have tried Plantronics Mic and still low to no pickup. the usb mp3 works like a champ (use fast read drives, The drives are indexed every time the radio starts) great eq controls. play pandora from my Blackberry with good remote control. screen can be a bit hard to read with some of the colors, but it is adjustable.

  • Lets just say that I did a lot of research before commiting to purchasing one hu. I looked back and forth between Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and even Clarion. After considering and breaking down all features, sq, user interface, $value, and numerous reviews from a lot of different sources, the JVC KDR 810 came out on top and made the most sense for my individual needs. I should mention that I got this thing hooked up to a 4 channel Memphis M class amp which powers my four 5x7 M class Memphis speakers, and a mono Alpine amp (mrp500) which powers my 12" sub and the sound produced with this set up turned out 200% better than I expected. The bluetooth works perfectly, sound is crisp, clear, and appropriatly loud. Controls are user friendly. Great button/display color customization. If I were to complaint about one thing is that occasionally there is a minor annoyance with the CD player skipping, but this is really not often enough to be considerable. I've had this thing in my car for 2 weeks now and I'm more than satisfied. You will be too.
