Product Reviews For Alpine CDE-100

You get what you pay for with Alpine - got this deck for under $100 Cdn for a great upgrade over OEM. Even though it's an affordable deck, there are a number of gripes: No Auto Dim makes it overly bright at night, especially since the blue buttons do not change color. The single set of pre-outs to amp are for rears - no subwoofer control over pre-outs makes addition of just a sub/amp difficult if you want to retain use rear speakers. Lack of control for ipod/iphone is also regret as well. I'd recommend paying more for a deck with more features.
