I have only 2 complaints about this BT receiver. 1. When on an active phone call and another incoming call begins (call waiting) the first call is disconnected and the second call goes straight to voicemail. I've looked through the manual and am in the process of contacting Alpine customer support. 2. In order to use the iPod feature you must connect using the provided cable. Occasionally it doesn't connect (causing the receiver not to read the iPod) and will say that no iPod is available which is more of a nuisance. I've been able to remove the cable and reconnect without issue. I think that with this being a new system, these bugs will be fixed in future models. Other than the two above complaints, I love this system. I like being able to listen to the radio or my phone playlists without missing a call. I know a call is coming in by the playing music being muted. My car was manufactured before hands-free tech became availalble in cars, so I love being able to use my phone hands-free for safety and ease. Once i learned how to navigate through the options, it is fairly easy to operate. I would definitely buy it again.
I just had the Alpine CDE-125BT installed in my 1995 Mercedes SL 320... Is AMAZING! Hands free telephone with a microphone that picks up my voice, even though I have a paralysied vocal cord!
