I gave this amp an 8 rating because for a two channel basic amp,this is a good sounding unit. It isn't packed with a bunch of useless features that don't get used, it does have some features needed for versital applications. I used it to beef up my bass in my rear deck 6x9's and it did such a solid job. People were asking what kind of sub woofers I was running?I told them none just two 6x9 two way speakers. They were impressed. They looked at all the trunk space I had compared to theirs and I was getting the same kick they were with big bandpass boxes only no chuff from the speakers,just smooth bass and a full spectrum sound response and not blown away from too much bass.
