I like this alot I use this with my 650w kicker amp with 2 12cvr and my indash pioneer dvd. Its beter then the phoenix gold i use to run at 2.5 farad
I had 2, 2.5 Lightning Audio caps powering up my 1000watt Rockford Fosgate amps and my headlights had a slite dimming to it.Also the amps were not getting enough power to them.After I installed the Rockford caps,OH MY GOD,it sounds louder and my lights don't dim at all anymore.This caps are worth every pennie.
A good buy. hooked up to a jenson pro 600 amp. made a huge difference. no more dimming,much harder bass. Only dislikes were ups dropped my capacitor box during shipping and crushed the plastick packaging and theres no mounting rings for the wires. have to buy them seperatly. otherwise this capacitor makes a great difference. i went from mirror shaking to mirror readjusting. if u need a capacitor this one is for you
i got a alpine mrp-m850 amp powering 2 kicker o7cvr12's , and they sound amazing. when i added this cap it made everything sound crazy amazing.
see this cap didnt work for me at all, it mad everything sound cleaner for sure, that was nice but it didnt help my lights, and it certainly did no good towards delivering punch, no good for high demanding bass. i also have 1750 watts running through it though so maybe i needed more farads??? really cool
It did not work on my 2 10s with 1300 audiobahn amp my lights dim and it was junk
to the 2 below me, it says right on the box for up to 1000 watts
I remember using these a while back. The Power series 1 farad voltometer caps are no joke. I was running 16 of these on 3 T20001bd amps to 6 T212d2 subwoofers. They helped big time as the 16 farads provided enough capacitance for over 15,000 watts of total power and I was only running about 6000w (rated) and over 7,455rms of ACTUAL power(rf amps are VERY underrated) For those of you running more power to these than they are rated for... Slap yourselves. RF all the way.
