i decide to give a try to this punch two, i got only one of these,on a sealed mtx o.85 cu ft box,wired to my jl 250/1 amp, im still amazed whit this fosgate sub,a very clean and "punch" bass. no distortion (jl make real underrated amps) so im thinking to buy one more of these "punchy" subwoofer, also it looks cool, rockford fosgate in true, make high quality on subwoofers.
I have these in my single cab silverado and was unimpressed in all. They are 6 months old and i am selling them to put a better sounding sub that can handle the faster beats and deeper bass with out feathering
This little sub blew me away! That is, when I bought seven more for my 04 Suburban after I bought the first one. One by itself isn't going to bust eadrums, but DOES hit hard for only being a ten inch sub that is 250W rms. It has superb sound quality and has a punchy, tight sound to it which keeps it true to its PUNCH name. Not only that, but this little guy is only $95.00 bucks on this site. Its definately a great bang 4 your buck sub. Im bangin 8 of these in my Suburban in 4 ported boxes with 1500 watts rms on a RF T15001bd(mini) hooked up to them and they are relentless. I would compare it to my 4 old T2 15inch subs that I had in my Tahoe which I was running over 4000 watts rms to. Very nice sub. Even better when you team it up. A definate 10 all the way.
I originally bought the P1 version and that was alright. I found the P2 on here for the same price I paid for the P1 at Best Buy and couldnt resist. I just got it today and swapped em out and I notice a nice difference. I basically listen to rock and metal and dont need to much bass and this sub is enough. I have it powered to an alpine 300 rms amp and it rocks. I also have 4 polk speakers hooked up to a 600 watt pioneer amp and the whole thing together is perfect for me. If you listen to rock and metal like I do this is the sub for you.
Wiring can get a little tricky but two of these in my Cherokee keep the bass slamming with the help of RF P500-1 running 320 rms at 4 ohms. Great buy u will be pleased
Trust my wife has 1 of these on a lightning audio LA1.300.2 running on a 2ohms load in her 07 pt cruiser and im telling u worth every penny and more, clean sound, heavy and steady bass...couldnt ask for nothing else.
