i've got the pioneer avh-p5000dvd and this remote only changes the track and volume when listening to music you have no other control over the head unit which is ridiculous. as you can see the volume buttons are small, ironically making it more dangerous to use than just looking down to turn the knob of the head unit. also, the change track buttons are almost impossible, and although the big middle button allows you to change tracks, it doesn't work very well at all. i thought i just didn't understand the remote but after troubleshooting for sometime it was obvious that the only thing this remote is good for is operating when a dvd is playing. wow.
