Fantastic System. does everything i need it to do, except recognize voice commands. integrates easily with my blackberry. powerful and clear sound with the new sony speakers i had installed.
HU is pretty good for the price, but the BT could be alot better, i find myself speaking pretty loud just for people to hear me. I really don't like the built in EQ, 3 bands come one, you really can't adjut to your SQ of music, My biggest problem is that if you are installing amps, and subs, you will loose your BT, and don't try to connect an EQ, instructions are so garbage it took a couple of hours just to figure it out. Overall it's worth the money, but i would rather see an external BT Mic.
If you are familiar with Sony's PSP or Playstation 3 GUI (Menu system) then you will be able to use this no problem. It is very intuitive and easy to learn. I don't know what the last poster was referring to when he said you can't use Bluetooth with subs and amps because I had my system installed today and everything works great. My 2002 RSX now has this Sony 5100, Kicker 750.1, and 3 farad cap. Bumpin a 1000W RMS Audiobahn 12. (ALUM 12Q) The system mutes music when a call comes in and my people had no problem hearing me. I do wish you could customize your EQ more. Overall I really like it. It is better then my $300 Kenwood I used to have in a rolley.
Great system for the $$. Works wonderful with LG dare phone. Lots of room to add on amps and others. I am using the HD option and pushing a nine speaker system with amps. Easy install and set up. Plug and Play!
