awesome subs. i have 2 of these in a sealed box powered by a directed d2400 amp and the sound is great. the response and depth is amazing. before these i had 2 Fosgate t1 15's in a ported box. the sound quality is much better and they hit plenty hard. dont let the rms numbers fool you. if you run good equipment that puts out clean power they can handle 3 time what it says
have two of the D3 in a 05 Neon with a JL 1000/1 V2 for the last year. and wow the sound the feel the looks i get i love it
i moved from 2 kicker cvr's in a ported box to 2 of these in a ported box and wow.. can't even compare. both are 400rms 800peak but no. these subs are incredible. Diamond is definitely the way to go. My friend got the diamond d1's in a ported box and those even kick the kickers right out of the picture. Kicker sucks..haha. If you want some subs that hit lows as well if not better than any other, these are what you're looking for.. will not be disappointed.
I used to have 1 D312D2.2 in my old ford taurus planted in a vented box tuned at 12Hz, running on a Kicker ZX 200.2 bridged to 4 Ohms. Which is way less then what it really needed in terms of power. I have to say that for the price, these are the best subs you can get. On some notes I could literally see shockwaves coming off of my car. NO LIE!!! So, if you want serious BASS and not have your wallet turn into dust, BUY DIAMOND AUDIO!!!!
the sub is very loud.. takes about 2 weeks to break in. i was surprises how loud it was for 1 12" love it. would def recommend with a little 500w rms 2 ohm. perfect. also buy your box from atrendusa boxes built to spec for cheap.. great buys
I have one Diamond Audio D312D4.2 in a 1993 sable and a infinity 1300a pushing 300w at 2 ohms and it hit very hard and it shake the shit of of my car. I been installing audio system for over 20+ yrs and i never heard a 12 hit like this one
I HAVE 2 OF THESE IN MY 93 CAMARO Z28 WITH A D-3 DIAMOND AMP 1000 WATT!! THESE THINGS POUND HARD AN CLEAN VARY GOOD FOR THE PRICE DEF RECOMEND!! I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE HATCH ON MY TRUNK BECAUSE OF THESE!! THINKIN BUOUT THROWIN 2 MORE IN THERE THO LOL

I just got the Diamond Audio 12 " sx124.. 600 rms and 1200 max power. I have them running at 1 ohm on a audiopipe D - class 1500. Got them in a custom ported box. Man they sound remarkable. This the best stereo system I've ever had. The subs are running $399.00 on ebay.
