I had one of these and it worked fantasticly. It was hooked to a pioneer comp level sub. Set up was easy. I use 2 ga power wires and about a week and a half it blew the crap out of that sub and i only used between 1/4-1/2 of the power the amp had. Great Amp
Really enjoy the results from the BXi1210D (previous year model) running a 12" SoloClassic @ 1ohm over the last year. Flexible tuning and great punch. Looks like the cat's out of the bag due to the increased price over the BXi1210D.
I have owned my Brutus 1200 D for about eight months now... It pushes two 07 12" Kicker comp vr's with ease!!! Never overheats, for that matter it never even gets hot just a little warm after two to three hours of HARD WORK!!! If you ask me ( a lot of other people) Hifonics are one of if not the best amps ever made, hands down!!! Earp...
This amp pushes hard! I have it pushing 2 12" Kicker CVR's and they are LOUD. I have litterally gotten notes from my nieghbors telling me to turn it down. Great amp for the money. Love hifonics!
Running 1 Fosgate T1D412 at 2 ohm with it...VERY impressed! clean and loud! Impressed with amp and speaker! Fosgate Rocks...only in 1.36cu ft sealed box too, gonna build recommended slot ported 3.12 cu box soon...can't wait! GREAT amp! Rocemmended buy!
I have 2 brz1200.1d's running 2 RE audio se 15's at 2 ohms 900 watts each in 2 4cubic foot slot ported boxes and they are nasty loud. on the term lab meter im doing 151.1 on the dash in a daily driver mini van. ive had numerous setups in numerous vehicles over the years and hifonics stands over all the rest in quality and price. you wont find a commercial amplifier in the same wattage range any cheaper. ive bought 4 of these amps from OCS so far for myself and others, and will continue to push them more.
Great amp, I installed this in my Honda Ridgeline to upgrade the stock subwoofer. Paired it up with (2) Kicker 10" subs in a sealed box under the seat. Nice clear instructions, amp fired up right away and this baby is powerful. Looks great with the illuminated Hifonics logo too.
Only reason for mostly 9's is because there ARE more expensive and better amps. But for the money this thing really pounds my 2 old (but still sounding great) Audiobahn AW1000Q's. At 600 watts per speaker, this amp brings out all they can do! If I ever blow one....which could easily happen....my next set of subs will most likely be a pr of JL Audio 10W3V3's or 10W3V6's depending on my funds available. I highly recommend only going with the Brutis series in the Hifonics line. Zues is ok but more entry level.

For the price it's the best value for the $$$. I've had it hooked to 4 12" boss subs @ 1 ohm in the xtra cab of my tacoma for the last year and couldn't be happier. Also pisses of all of the cops I'm my town
I still have this amp and its doing its job with no issues.Highly recommend. I also have BRZ12D4 12 INCH Subs and they hit very hard.Hifonics is affordable for your average 9 to 5 working man.
Great bang for ur buck ! This is the second one I have owned and I love the power it puts out for the price u pay ! Love this amp
