For years, Brutus car amplifiers have been recognized the world over as some of the best subwoofer amplifiers in their class. For the money the best amp I've ever had. I got 2 premier comp 12s wired to a 1ohm load with 0ga. power wire.This amp is bad a**!
this amp is THE BEST bang for your buck.. if you don't have enough money at the time, just save a lil more until you can get one of these hifonics zeus' they are the some power horses and will push whatever you have..
This amp has incredible sound quality plus power. I have 2 12in. 600watt RMS GP12D4's The blue illuminated Crunch Ground Pounders and the amp hardly gets warm, pushes them like a champ, you don't really wanna be in the car, also pulled out high notes I didn't think my 12's had. The amp's blue illumination looks ballin and is foreal the best amp I've owned.
Great Amp, have mine wired at 4 ohm and it slams with my Type R. gonna wire it @ 2ohm once my SSA Icon is made and sent to me
This amp is a beast ! Hooked it up to CERWIN VEGA sub box and it pounds . Great value.
This amp is powering my 2 12" CVX's and pumping out the FULL 1700w it says. I have them wired down to the 1ohm specified. I have the subs in an RT/obcon box and this amp makes them hit HARD. back window flexes a ton and gives me a wonderfull full body massage anywhere i go. This is worth the money, dont waste money on more expensive amps, or the low quality cheaper ones. this amp is PERFECT.
bougth this but instead i recieve the newer model the brutus elite 1700 man was i happy but back to the review for the money u cant go wrong with this amp its a solid amp mine runs really cool get this amp or go with the 3000w for the xtra $100
Man im really happy with is product. Great overall. when purchasing this product I did not know that it was the newer modle either. I was too surprise. Runs good with my 2000w, 1000w rms dual l3'. Will definitely be purchasing from here again!!!
Just to clarify a bit you do get sent a BE1700.1D Elite... I bought this amp to replace a BRZ1200.1D that died after about 14 months of service it never got hot but just stopped working... this amp already after a few hours I can tell it is giving me much more headroom and lower noise floor and can supply me the power I need to upgrade my subs in the spring, the BRZ1200 no matter what could not make me worried about too much power for my set up but this amp easly reached 55VAC on the DMM before I said that is way to high and turned it down... on a 2ohm load that is a little over 1500watts... the BRZ1200 never got over 49 for a 1200watt output at 2ohm.... I can only imagine what this can do with a better more power hungry set of subs... only downside is this amp does not match my ZXI80.4 like the BRZ1700.1D would but I can live with it because its elite!!!

I have had this for a while now and I love it. Sound quality is great. It really has a nice kick to it . I would definitely consider buying another one if necessary. Would recommend .
It's a good amp and puts out more than I need considering Im running 2 P3s. But even with the gain lower than 25% it still OVERHEAT and CUT OFF after about 20 mins of continuous play
Other than minor cosmetic details, this amp has been an extraordinary find. Dollar for dollar, I don't think there's a better deal out there. I own a T1000bdcp, ix1000.1, and a pdxm12, all of which were significantly more money and have similar output. This amp has spent most of it's life pushing an Orion HCCA 10 without any issues whatsoever and is currently pushing 2 T1 12's. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants big power but doesn't want to pay for the name.

This amp has the power and abilities to power 1, 2, 3, or 4 subowfers. I had mine on 2 kicker cvr's and I couldn't be more happy. If you know like I know get more than one of these.
