The DEH-P8300UB from Pioneer features built-in Pandora-Link support usually found in their high-end navigation and multimedia receivers. Pandora-link allows you to control your Pandora app on your iPhone directly from the receiver's controls. The AM/FM tuner offers 6 station presets for each band which allow you to easily re-call your favorite radio stations quickly. Pioneer takes the built-in AM/FM tuner a step further by including RDS (Radio Data System) functionality. If the currently tuned station is broadcasting RDS information, the receiver will display that information directly on the LCD screen. Typically broadcasted information varies from current track and artist details, to announcements and alerts. The built-in CD drive will play music from standard music CDs and music recorded to a CD-R in the standard CD audio format.
The DEH-8300UB is also equipped to play MP3, WMA, and AAC digital media files burned to a CD-R/CD-RW disk or load on a USB thumb drive. Pioneer takes digital audio support a step further with full iPod support through direct iPod connection technology. Plug your iPod directly into the DEH-4300UB's front USB port and you're good to go. If your portable MP3 player happens to not be an iPod, the included Front 3.5mm Auxiliary input will allow you to play music from any device with a headphone jack.
Great headunit!! sound quality has improved greatly from stock! i have owned a lot of brands of head units and pioneer will always have my loyalty because of it. Great features and the sound is super clear. screen is a little small but i dont have a problem with that at all. definatly recomend this head unit!
