Bought those speakers to replace my old Boss MR695. They are more than over rated : It does not handle 1/3 of the power they claim. I cuted it high pass at 120Hz to get some sound on the Wake. It's on a Class-D 80w Soundstream amp, tweeter died at the second run. Sound is (was ...) metalic and agressive. Don't waste your money on those things. I will buy Boss MR695 again, sound is just 10 times better and they handle a little more power (HP @ 80Hz with no distortion on the same amp)
