Lanzar's Mariner series of speakers are waterproof and designed for use in your boat, on the dock, by the pool, or simply mounted outside. They're designed with a water-resistant construction to keep the rust out. The AQ69CXS includes two silver 6' x 9' full-range speakers suitable for marine use. The 1.25' high temperature Kapton voice coil accurately reproduces low and mid-range frequencies, while the 0.5' superior dome tweeter hits the high frequencies. Bought those speakers to replace my old Boss MR695. They are more than over rated : It does not handle 1/3 of the power they claim. I cuted it high pass at 120Hz to get some sound on the Wake. It's on a Class-D 80w Soundstream amp, tweeter died at the second run. Sound is (was ...) metalic and agressive. Don't waste your money on those things. I will buy Boss MR695 again, sound is just 10 times better and they handle a little more power (HP @ 80Hz with no distortion on the same amp)
