To prevent circuit shutdown, Pioneer's new digital amplifier circuit "Protection Control System" senses its internal temperature and automatically moderates input level accordingly. Stable, durable circuitry lessens the risk of high input power for the unit to achieve 1 Ω connection. This design enhances the flexibility to connect multiple subwoofers to a system.

Very good product for price and simple to install.
I use it to power my 12" infinity kappa sub it works great so clear and loud.
This Pioneer AMP paired perfectly with the 4 Ohm 12" Pioneer speakers that it is pushing. Would have never been able to pair these two products perfectly if not for the help from Online Car Stereo.
The amp is real good. It has the power to run 2 Hifonics Brutus BRZ 12's at 1 ohm all day and never gets hot. My Honda Odyssey rolls up at the stoplight bumpin Jeezy, the cars around me give dirty looks and have to raise up their windows. I love watching their side view mirrors vibrate. In the drop off line at the kids' school, I drop a Master P track to wake up all the soccer moms in their sweatsuits. I definitely recommend this amp.
