We loaded 4 of these 8" high efficiency mid bass speakers in 12" Schedule 90 PVC pipe and mounted them on the radar arch of a Tighe Boat. They are underpowered so far by a Clarion amp but the sound is nothing short of amazing. Coupled with a single Alpine sub, the boat owner is able to get in the water and enjoy full rich LOUD sound outside of the boat. Time will tell if the paper cones stand up to the humid environment, but the first year was perfection!
