  • great subs, got two hooked upto 1000watt kenwood, after the first day of use i couldnt hear right for atleast a week, for the price i really dont see anything else in the price range that even compares to the quality of MB quart and the sound produced is excellent and extremly powerful, highly recommended

  • I had the 15' MB quart subs and they were awsome being as though Rockford Fosgate designed(look at the basket) very impressive just don't go over 1600 watts rms you will blow them! otherwise I love them.

  • I used to run 2 JL audio 15's and they sounded great I thought. Then I destroyed one of them so I decided to try a 12" speaker. I tried 1 RWE 304 MB Quart and I power it with 1 Zapco 700 watt amp and The sound is much more even and it produces a punchier bass with more control. I built a 42db ported cabinet for this speaker and I also tried it in a sealed .95 cf cabinet and I like the smoothness of the ported cabinet better. Best speaker I have found to date. I listen to Jazz, Classical, Blues.

  • I have 2 of these hooked up in my 1983 Chevy Stepside in a sealed 2 cu ft. box and oh my god I pound my friends out of my truck, I am only pushin 600 watts to them and they put it out well. Hands down the cleanest, hardest subs for the bargain.

  • I bought two 12 inch RWE 304's with a Kenwood 9152 (900 rms at 1 and 2 ohm) and they are loud as hell. I compared those to the two 12 inch W3v2's and they sure provided much better sound quality. The 500 watt peak is actually 500 rms and 1000 watt max, so do not be discourage by the misprint. I guarantee that who ever buy's these sub will love them.

  • i have the 15inch version, and i'm here to tell you mb quart knows how to make subs. my sub is rated at 700watts rms 1400 peak, i have it hooked to an ma audio hk amp giving it about 1000watts rms, and this bad boy not only pounds..breaths. tight, articulate, responsive, transient, DEEP bass. i used to have a rf 15, the mb blows it away, like i said this baby goes deep, with sq. I LOVE MY MB QUART, MA AUDIO set-up, you don't have to buy overated equipment to have quality, thanks to sites like this one. mb quart and ma audio are worth taking a look at, you may be suprised.

  • I have the dual 2 ohm version of this subwoofer and cannot express just how nice this sub is. I'm running it off of 2 Memphis 250 monoblocks (250 wrms @ 2 ohm - I amp per voice-coil) and this sub performs flawlessly. I listen to a wide variety of music from Jazz and Blues all the way to Country and it will play all of it exceptionally well. I downsized from two 12" Eclipse 6200 series subs (needed more trunk space) and this one sub sounds better than my dual sub setup did. Hits just as hard and plays far cleaner - this sub is a winner!

  • I bought these subs off a buddy over 4 years ago and I know he ran them for over 3, so that makes them 7 years old now and they still perform like new. I have them hooked up to a 1000w class d kenwood - getting to the point, for your money these are your best buy in regards to some serious SQ but if thats not your thing - for 5$ more the type-R is what u want. Don't get me wrong, these things are really loud, you wont be disappointed.

  • I have two of these in a ground shaker ported box also from this site and all i can say is WOW!! I sold my two kicker L5's because the box was huge and i wanted a smaller stup and i was mad because i love how loud they were but these are exactly the same if not better in loudness i have them hooked up to a 1000.1 kicker amp gain at maybe 15% i just tested them out for about 5 seconds and they sound amazing...

  • I'm running a single 12" rwe 304 in a 1.1cu ft, netting 1cu ft after sub displacement. This enclosure is slightly bigger than MB quart recommends (which is like .95 or 1cu ft). After lightly adding polyfill to the box and allowing the sub to break in I wasn't impressed. The sub seemed to struggle when pushing lows. Just today I took the sub out and totally over-stuffed my enclosure with polyfill and it definitely made a noticeable difference. It still isn't handling the lows like I had hoped, still a tad too boomy. I'm debating on upgrading to a 1.5cu ft box. I can tell this sub has potential but I would recommend a box no smaller than 1.25cu ft at least for a 12". Oh, it's being powered by an alpine mrp-m500, DVC's are wired paralell and I've got the gain to about 75%, so it's getting plenty of power. I may stuff it with more polyfill and call it a day. I've addeded 3/4's of a 20oz bag of fill to it, might just go ahead and dump the rest in. I figure it's worth a try since hey, it's free.
