Good speaker real good bass response pretty easy to install sounds good without amp.
By far on of the better 6x9's I've ever heard. You do need to amp them to get them to their full potential. You need these speakers for your car.
Not necessary to have, but provide great bass in place of a sub if you're on a budget and plan to put in your subs at a later time. They even pound without an amp but I'd recommend an amp to get them to their full potential. Honda Accord users: These speakers fit perfectly in place of the stock 6x8's at the rears. No cutting required.
One of the better sounding 6x9's out. Put out alot of bass and dtill sound good. Worth the money!!!!
These 6 by 9's have an excellent sound quality. They do not distort, even with a lot of power going to them.
These speakers sound awesome in my car. They have enough bass to make shake my rearview mirror. I would recommend them to anyone.
I got these in my 2001 Dodge Ram with a pair of type-s 5'1/4's runnin off an alpine amp..they pound pretty good but im goin to get a more powerful amp to get more potential out of these suckers..shakes all of my mirrors with ease.
this is deffinatly a good buy, I had to cut my car up thought and add blocks up under my trunk henge to get them in. it was deffinatly worth the money and I would deffinalty amp them to get them to full potentule. i currently have them installed in a 93 nissan altama and believe me they sound good.
This is probably one of the best speakers i have gotten. SQ is amazing. Def. worth the money especially for a rear fill. Even w/o an amp there is no distortion even at high volumes.
Installed in my girlfriends new neon, originally running from a 18x4w RMS pioneer head unit. They sounded horrable for upgrades. The bass distorted and bottomed out, the highs were OK, mid range was terrable. The day after i installed a 50x2 watt PPI amp and now they absolutly rock! Bass is deep and punchy (great for the kick drums) Mids are clean and enjoyable, highs almost spine tingling. Needless to say THEY NEED AN AMP. Even if you dont like loud music the amp will definitely help sound quality. Not the greatest for rap but foam baffles should help that..
Hooked them up in my 1967 chevelle with an alpine head unit and it sounds great
hard hitting bass that really is noticeable. upgraded to these after blowing up audiobahn 6x9's with 200w rms. they blew up after running 75rms into them. these alpines take the power and want more.
The amp definately does help. these speakers can take a lot of power. However, I should mention that if you hook these speakers up to an amp, You wont even be able to hear ur fron speakers even if ur rite next to them. I had to get an Amp for the front speakers just to match the sound these put out. Course i have a small sedan so maybe u have a bigger vehicle wont be a problem. I love heavy metal and Crunk rap. The bass amazing. the highs and mids also remarkable too. I would reccommend this speaker to anyone who plans to hook it up to an amp.
