Product Reviews For Pioneer TS-W301R

  • it looks hot and sounds good, it is reaaly nice in the low range, only if u have the right amp. i bought mine at walmart for 60 bucks, and went home and put it in the box that i had made. it is close to 2 cubic feet sealed. I think that is about the best place for it

  • I bought two of these from walmart. they're powered by a 760 pioneer and it sounds great back in my trunk, thumps like nobodys business and they aren't even hitting their max or close.

  • WOW! I have 2 of these in a split sealed enclosure. With about 1 cubic foot per sub and plenty of poly-fil in the box these things HIT HARD. With a 360 watt rms Pioneer amp the high sensitivity of these subs makes them pound even without being pushed hard. In the back of my Monte Carlo you can feel your hair move and the bass in your chest. You can't go wrong with Pioneer, especially for the price.

  • I had one of these in a sealed enclosure 1.3 cubic ft. Powered by MTX at twice recommended RMS. It sounds good with rap and hip hop, but not so much with rock. The sub is pretty much indestructable within reasonable limits. It wasn't loud enough so I switched to Infinity. You get what you pay for with this product.

  • I just put one of these subs in my trunk and I was shocked on how much bass just one had! I couldnt help to go and get another one. I have two in a sealed box. Iam running a Lighting Audio 760 watt amp and these things are banging in my trunk! Highly recommend them to anyone that wants some good sounding bass for little money!

  • I used these subs for my first car audio installation, and I am glad I picked them. For the price they sound great. If you are looking for a cheap way to add ALOT of bass to your ride, these are for you. My friends love riding with me for the free back massage. I have two running off of a Sony XM2002GTR at 200w RMSx2 in a custom built 1.5 cu.ft. enclosure. My gain is set about 3/4 of the way and I can't raise it anymore because I'm afraid my car is going to rattle apart. I'm more than happy with them and I'm glad I didn't spend a whole lot of money on "better" speakers. Plus they look pretty slick.

  • I bought one of these for my first system to play around with and the price amazed me on how good the sub sounded and how much bass it was puttin out. I didnt put a real big system together yet because I am still learning but I have this sub sitting in a 1.1 cubic ft. with two 1.5" x 6" ports wich is the best ported box you can put it in. But if your like me this is a great sub to buy to start with or if you just want a nice back massage.

  • This is the first sub i bought and for the price i got them it wasn't bad at all. After i got more into car audio, i realized how average it was. You can't complain about the price, and if it's your first system its really not bad.

  • Not a bad sub at all. More of an entry level sub. Great for somebody who just wants a little bit of bump in their trunk. This was my first subwoofer, but i just bought a new alpine type r so im pretty much done with this sub. Not bad at all though.

  • These subs a EXTREMELY reliable. I have had these things hitting extremely hard every day for the past 6 months and they still are not close to blowing. I also recommend if you live on a bumpy road like i do here in michigan to get the Pioneer DEH-P2900MP as a deck for your replacement stereo. I can hit bumps with this @ 60 m.p.h. and it will NOT skip!

  • The saying "you get what you pay for" for sure does not describe these subs. I have two in a sealed Qlogic being powered by a rockford amp....these subs slam and the quality is great. I have yet to hear a note these subs couldnt reach down low...but they need some work with the higher frequency bass...OVERALL an extremely smart buy for a for entry level subs and for sure worth the money

  • This sub is worth its money in sound and performance. Havent found an amp yet that will blow these. I bought two 12's six months ago and they keep on pounding harder than all the boys on the block.
