  • this is the loudest subwoofer i have in my car. the JL 13w7 needs a strong amp to power it, so not worth it. i have a lanzar amp running to these in a bass slammer dual ported enclosure and it BUMPS. oh yea did i forget that i have only 100w running to each of them? 1/4 the power and people hear it from a block away! no speakers either and i know exactly what's playing.... i have a project car and this is the first thing i bought for it and im greatly pleased. MTX all the way

  • i just bought 3 of these today in the triple 10 sledgehammer box running them with the mtx 92001 super d class amp in a 01 mustang gt!! these things are amazing!! i had 2 12" type x alpines, and i wasnt expecting the 10s to keep up with them, man i was wrong. im very impressed with the mtxs!!

  • This is a great subwoofer. Now that I know more about this stuff, I just upgraded my amplifier. I have a Hifonics BXi2008D amplifier running at 2 ohms that gives each of these bad boys 650w RMS, but the gain is down to 3/4, and they pound my brains out. Recommend to anybody, and if you have money, get the 9500's because they can take up to 1400w RMS each.

  • I have ONE of these in my 07 Chrysler 300 and it about rips the trunk off! Just be prepared to buy A LOT of Dynamat if you don't want to hear your car over your speaker, other than that, be prepared for it to make your eye balls vibrate, you can't see the road hahaha A+. Also I bought mine from an MTX dealer for $***. Wish I would have seen this site sooner, mine is the newer black one but the specs are still the same I believe.
