Product Reviews For MTX T5512-44

  • For the price, these subs can't be beaten. They are well constructed and have CRAZY SPL. Although the SQ isn't all that good because these subs have a hard time hitting the LOW notes without bottoming out. I owned a pair in a ported enclosure in a Ranger and the highs were insane, made my light fixture on the roof fall off along with my rearview mirror. Great sub for the price, but if your like me and live for the organ shifting lows then these subs aren't your best bet, might recomend the 7500 which are a great sub all around. I have 3 12'' 7500's ported in my truck now with a Hifonics Brutus 3200. It's almost unbearable!!

  • BOOM BOOM BOOM thats what you hear from these subs if you give them enough power. but be warned you MUST give them the power they need for them to perform like 250-400 watts each. don't be afraid of over poering them they can take it. i have two kicker 400 watt mono blocks one for each sub and they take every watt and want more. clairity is pretty good buck could be better thump is awsome for the price and price well do i even need to go into that if ur at this site then you know what the retail prices are. awsome buy and would do it agian. but make sure they are in a well built box not some wal-mart cheapie. good box makes all the difference. ported if you want the best from these subs.

  • I'm from Brazil and recently swapped a pioneer ts-w308d4 400W (RMS) 1400W for this mtx t5512-44 300w (RMS) and I say unhesitatingly. is the best subwoofer in the world, I wondered T9 and Jackhammer 22 "nonsense that must be! I do not change my T5 by any other subwoofer unless the other MTX and just change my T5 to T8 or T9 ... are excellent speakers! future will be all my sound MTX!! subwoofer, amplifier, cables, capacitors and mega speakers components!! all MTX! do not think twice to buy the sub and other power can stand! more than the pioneer and with high quality audio even there is no comparison in relation to the kicker comp that is your competitor! this is my message for the sub!
