for the money , you can not beat these. a huge improvement from the last p3. i would put my p3s against jl audio w6s all day long and i spent a whole lot less money.
I bought one of these about 4 months ago. I had it running and a RF 600db amp. The sub sounded good for the first 2 days but on the third day that i had it the voice coil melted. I think if the quality was a little better then the sub would have been one of the best for the money.
This is an all around good sub. I have one of these being pushed my a 400 watt rms amp. It hits pretty good for how cheap it is. If your looking for an overall good sub for a fair price this is the one
I have 2 of these being pushed by T10001bd in a pro box in my extendedcab chevy and man they sound awsome i never liked and rockford untill now u cant go wrong with these
i have two p3d212's powered by a zx1500.1 kicker wired to produce a 2ohm. load. that's 750rms.of power to each sub. the subs have 1.1 cubic ft. of space each to operate. results are controlled pounding bass.

After owning a P1, and a few P2's, this seemed like the next natural step. I must say you can definatly tell the quality in workmanship and research with each step up. Astheticly good to look at and the sound quality is amazing when matched up with the right enclosure and amplifier. And the fact that I saved over $100 by purchasing it here vs. my local dealer is a huge bonus as well. I had nothing against my P1 or my P2, I just kept shredding them so I said what the heck and went bigger. This sub sounds amazing in my Dakota in the 1.0 Cu. Ft. sealed box I have it in and it is running 500 watts at a 4 ohm load, just about all I need in there.....(at least thats what my girlfriend says).
two p3s in ported box with 1000 rms hifonics amp and let me tell you they hit hard people think i have like 4 12s in the trunk if you want good bass rockford is the way to go. plus they are so much cheaper then on their website best subs for the money.
I have one P3 12 with a power 500bd amp in 2004 F-150. I get asked ALL the time how many subs I have? Many Many compliments from this sub. Looking at getting 2 more with a 1500bd now!! Cannot go wrong with this sub. CHEAAAPPPP!!!
Had two of these in a custom ported box, each running on a seperate p400-2 bridged. Bought them a few months after they came out. Im writing this review mainly because I miss them. ha ive been through a few different subs (Kicker cvr12's, Pioneer Premeir Ts12 Pro) and by far those Fosgate's beat them all. Highly recomend these subs for anyone looking for great sounding bass. And not to mention their alot cheaper than when they first came out at $249.99 on sale. Add to cart and you wont regret it!
I had 2 P3's in a ported box being pushed by a Hifonics 1000 Watt Class D Amp, that seemed to be the sweet spot. I love these subs! Had them in my Acura TL, then after 4 years moved em to my Tahoe. After 4 years, I was consistently complimented on how hard they hit. Best low's you'll find in a 12". I would easily "beat down the block" WITHOUT turning the sub volume past -2 or -1 on my head unit. The price is just icing on the cake, I'd recommend these to anybody looking for ground shaking, yet clean sound ; and willing to get a quality Amp and a big enough box, these subs are deep, and they sound deeper. The quality of product on the Rockford Fosgates is top-notch! Only reason I ditched these was b/c the genius at best buy accidently put a screwdriver thru the cone when I was going down from 2 to 1 sub. They gave me an Alpine Type-R as a comparable product, and I can honestly say, after 8 months, I miss my P3's.
Ordered these and they sent me the brand new 600 watt rms ones(: dont know what happened. Dont care. Ill takem but there really great subs.
