great amp to go along with any JL setup, i bought this amp and called up JL to see if they really are behind this amp, and they said theres not much difference between this and a JL 1000/1 mono block besides 500 bucks in your pocket. i would reccomend this to anyone looking for a good amp without paying a dollar a watt
Another great amp by TMA. This thing is a great amp at the price. If you have any issues I've found there website very helpful and they respond to email pretty quickly. Great amp.
i just bought this amp from a local dealer and it seems to be a pretty good amp. i'm running two 2 ohm kicker cvr 12's. very good sound quality, but i'm not sure about the power rating. maybe i need to drop it to 1 ohm to get it's full potential. very good amp for the money.
Most excellent amp. System started with two 10 inch Ground Zero EL 4 ohm subs rated to be 375 watts RMS, within 4 days, they were cooked (they were also 8+ years old). Went to the local dealer who sold me this amp, and got two of the JL 10w3-3 10 inch subs... still in the break-in period, but so far a very good amp.
With JL backing them they are sure to be a real value as all their products. Some people seem to get the impression they are as good as the Slash amps but if you look at the features and the build quality inside you will find what you pay for. Great Value for sure!
i have one of these hooked up to a 12w7 was gonna use this till i had enough mony to get a jl1000 but the way this sounds i really dont see how you could get better it seriously pounds it shakes the pictures in my house i know the speaker is out of this world but the clean power the amp gives it is great i also have a rf 1 farad cap no lie i highly recomend this amp it performes like an amp twice the price im a tma user for life
had a tma 1000 amp pushing 2 jlw3 subs in their box and amp started cutting out after first day took back to store tried another amp and it did the same so i bought a 1000 watt alpine and have had no problems since not to mention subs dont pop anymore gain was right under half amp bass all the way down and no bass on player dont understand what happened
I have two of these pushing two JL 13tw5 and they are exceptionally good. They haven't dissapointed me yet and the price you just can't beat.
Had a Hifonics 1200 watt amp for a couple years always worked good then one day it quit working and got one of these amps from a guy at a sound and service store for 100 bucks and i would have to say i'm very pleased with this amp. using it to push one 12 type r and it hits the lows way better and sounds a lot cleaner, not to mention it also hits harder.. very good amp!
Hi I'm from Panama and I'm very happy with this amp. pushing 2 pioneer sub 307d2 @ 2 ohm in a 3.5 ft3 wedge box with a 3" port, I hit 141.00db in spl competition.
I bought one of these to run 2 memphis 12's at 1 ohm load, unit would overheat and cut off after 10 minutes or so of heavy play. I returned it and went with a 500 watt mono memphis and no more problems "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"
i bought one of these amps fro about $200 brand new..great deal..!! i hooked them up to 2 12inch type r at 1 ohm with 4 gauge wire..perfect bass..
ive had sony,lanzar,and jbl amps this is by far the best amp ive had. I have it pushin 3 12 inch Image dyniamics subwoofers and they hit hard. every one can hear me coming from half a mile away.rattles my truck and i have two layers of dynamat.This amp is definetly worth the money. I'm a tma user for life!!
Anyone know where I can get an owner's manual or a video showing adjusting the game bass crossover and such thank you free of course
