got these last week ,have a Crunch PZi 175.4 running these and i must say they will blow you away. ther 100 times better then the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683C i had installed when i first got the amp these speakers are crystal clear you for the money they are the best thing going. only bad thing i can say is my amp needs to be upgraded as it overheats when i try and push these speakers for more then an hour at 2/4ths full volume
These speakers are amazing! I mounted a pair in the doors of my old Nissan pickup. I used 3/4" MDF for speaker bezels. Clean, accurate full range sound. Best car speakers I have ever owned. Get yourself a pair or two and don't look back.
I've owned the reference series in just about every size speaker they make. Finally, I took it to the next level. I have 4 of these running off radio power, 1 in each door (Kenwood 8120)The sound Quality is outstanding!! Nothing can describe the sound Quality of these speakers. These speakers are AWESOME!!! I bought a pair for my '69 Bettle and mounted them in the back dash. I've just started putting sound in the car so I only have these ad my Blaupunkt head unit. They sound absolutely great; they pump out bass and i haven't even connected an amp yet.
I just bought a 2008 charger in mid december. I'm a sound quality type of guy so I started to up grade my sound system. For a long time I wanted Infinity Kappa for my highs and I bought 6x9's for the rear deck and they sound so good I bought another pair for the front doors. Now it sounds GRRREAT!!!! My wife even liked the sound of these. I'm going to install some 3.5's in the dash now to create a surround kind of sound, and I'm going with Infinity Kappa's, of course.
I just installed these in my 1976 280z and they sound amazing.....Well worth the money.....Highly recommended....

I really like these speaker. I didn't want to put in subs. I got these instead and put a nice amp on them. it sound like i got subs. I got to keep my truck space. I plan to get a pair for my doors these drown my current one out.

I got a set of these mounted in the deck of my 96 civic, along with their 6" counterparts custom fit into the doors all running off an alpine head unit. These are simply the best sounding speakers that money can buy for highs/mids. I listen to metal, and these speakers add so much depth, tone, and clarity to my music. Since i just burnt my sub up, i got a chance to hear the bass these things put out. For car speakers they put out pretty decent bass. They also have a very high sensitivity and can be wired at 2 ohms so they make the best of the power my head unit produces. If you are in the market for new car speakers, i highly reccomend these ones, just be prepared to do a little modification to make them fit in some cars.
I got these in my '05 Dodge Neon in the rear deck. They sound awesome, even better than the Alpine S series that I had in there before. I have them hooked up to a Kenwood head unit. I also have the 3.5 Kappas in the dash and Alpine 6.5 in the front doors. Also I have two 12" subs pushed with a 1500 Watt Crunch Mono amp. This system sounds awesome!! I'm not happy about one thing. It's the fact that the mounting holes in the speakers do not line up with the factory mounting holes in the rear deck. They are 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch off! Their is nothing more fun that taking a file to a brand new set of speakers so I could mount them. This is my third set of 6 X 9's in this car and I have never had a fitment issue before! The Alpine's fit perfectly so did the Kenwoods. I don't know why the Infinity speakers did not fit properly. If I paid full retail price I would have returned them for something else! I love the quality of Infinity speakers and the sound. Thats the reason I kept them and made them work. They would have got a 5 star rating all the way if they fit properly! They are worth the money. I'm a little irritated with them but not enough to return them.
absolutely the best speakers i've ever heard, i spent atleast 4-5 months finding all the reviews about these speakers, and damn it was worth it, these speakers SCREAM at you,, if you want to turn heads, these speakers will definetly give you that.. one minor problem i have with the speaker is that they are kinda shiny and i don't have the cover on top of them but their sound will truely amaze anyone. now i can't wait until i recieve my 62.9i for my fronts, it's gona be beautiful...
Theses speakers sound great. I swapped the stock 6inch speakers in my regular cab truck for a pair of these and it gave my truck great surround sound even with the front door speakers still stock.
BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK! These 6x9's BUMP and are CLEAR sounding. I've told MANY people about these and would recommend them for ANYONE!
When I bought the speakers I thought that they were going to be ok based on the price, when I got them installed on my car I could not believe the sound quality that they had, with a good amp they sound loud and clear. I'm very pleased with these speakers and I would recommend them to anyone, not to mention that the price is great also!

Have had Infinity Kappa 693.9i since 2013 and they still sound very good after a year. They are powered by 100w x 2 pioneer amp and sound great. I have them crossed out at 100 hz and am not using them for bass. Good highs and mids. These are a good value for the power handing and sound quality. I would consider buying Infinity again.
