These are some of the greatest speakers you can buy for the money. They sound like speakers more than double their price. Off of a stock system, they sound great. Attach them to an amp and they become precise audio powerhouses! I'm a huge audiophile who enjoys a wide range of music and these speakers are remarkable. From Dream Theater to Mozart to Daft Punk, these speakers are some of the best.
Retrofitted these into my 2003 BMW K1200LT motorcycle. Needed to modify the front holders but it was worth it. Speakers sound amazing. Did not use the cross overs on the front but did on the rear. I can actually feel the bass on these things through my motorcycle gear.
They sound great, play loud and clear with no distortion. I'm using them with a JL xd 400 amp. and bridged 200w per channel and the crossover set at 50. I have them mounted in the dash of a 04 wrangler with a soft top. they sound loud and clear on the highway. they can drown out any road noise. would highly recomend. they sound better than the J.L C525 I replaced. Plays way louder too.
