Don't underestimate this amp. Unless you have some heavy duty subs, I wouldn't suggest this amp. With this amp only the strong survives. I blew 2 brand new Kicker Comp Vr (12") which are rated at 400 watts RMS per sub at a 2ohm load, The amp is rated at 400 rms at 2 ohms so I was getting 200 watts to each sub. And they still blew! I had my Audiobahn 12 AlumQ rated at 1,000 rms at 2 ohms and that blew!. But I recently met it's match when I bought me a RF power HX2 1.000 at 1ohm and NOW I Kill the BLOCK! The neighborhood filed a petition for me to remove system out of my 97 corolla. be cause set their house alarms offt car alarms house alarms.
Good amp, Great value! Not the best for SQ, but if you're going for SPL and are on a budget this amp is a good choice.
Best amp I have have ever bought it pounds my two audiobahn subs and nothing else i have bought in the future compares to the money value of this amp.
this is a great amp i run 2 alum12Q audiobonds before i had a 1600 w poweracustik and traded for this and boy am i glad not enough power for the subs though there great and can handle some abuse
This amp is rated wrong on this site...pushes 700 RMS @ 2Ohms. I am pushing 2 Zeus 10's with this and it rocks! For the money, this can't be beat!
this thing powers my 2 jl 10w3d2s at 1 ohm and doen't even get warm but it shakes my audi a6 avant to pieces use plenty dynamat!!! best amp on the market for the money and the SQ is awsome. spend alot of time setting up your crossovers and you will see what I mean.
i have the bx1000d running 2 12" l7s in a ported box and it slumps more than enough for me. its in my daily driven vehicle and doesnt hesitate to do its job with loud bass tracks. its overrated and i can assure im not getting the full 1000wrms on my factory electricals...but im sure for those who have a great electrical system on their vehicles will be seeing 900wrms with this amp. overall, i am very satisfied considering i upgraded from the brutus bx500d (which was also a great amp for me when i was a tight budget). i will consider hifonics brutus amps to anyone and everyone whose on a budget.
