this is a sick amp its makes one 12 sound so loud alot of people think i have two
Paid $300.00. Pushing 2 Comp-VR 12's, this is the most impressive 600-watt Amp I've ever heard. Orion's true to its namesake. This thing never overheats and always delivers seamless power.
I have 2 of these, each on a seperate Orion HCCA 10D's, both in Orion spec ported boxes... I've been told its louder than some kicker 15" set ups in Escalades kids have around where I live. Directed Electronics is also one of THE best companies to work with customer servicewise. I had a problem with my old HCCA 225G5's and to make a long story short, I sent in 2 5 year old, expired warranty 400 watt amps and they sent me 2 brand new, 2 year warranty 600 watt amps... free of charge. I didn't even have to pay shipping. They basically bought my patronage for a long time now, but with that kind of service and understanding, I really can't complain.
I also bought an orion hcca 225 G5. I buned it and orion sent me the 600d. I cant believe the power it puts out. I have it pushing two JL 10w3v2 and it sounds amazing and its way to loud.
most powerful amp i have found. it was a replacement for an audiobahn.blows that product away.
I bought this amp about 3 months ago, and it turned out to be really good. I put the Kicker L5 2OHM to it and it pounds so hard in my full sized pickup. Now I want to add to it, with another of the same setup. I have had no problems yet. I just want it to be louder now. Thanks for the great products.
The 600d seems great so far. I have owned this amp for 3 months now, I have it wired four ohm right now (because I can not afford a dual four ohm or two ohm woofer) but powering one infiniti reference 12 it hits amazing so much harde than the amp it replaced an mtx 282 though the power should be less at four ohms. This amp is always cold to the touch even after pounding it for long periods, the mtx was always hot.
If you want something high quality but on a low budget side... ohhshh!!! this is is the amp... it does it's job never over heats it is louder and clean than the recent 15 I added im my civic... If you want some high quality and something worth your money this is the ohhshh!!! I have blown alot of amp in my whole life but I haven't blown this one... and if I ever did I probably get hook up again...Ohhshh!!!!
I have the 600D original amp (not 1200) and it seems to hit harder than a lot of 1000 watt amps i've heard.. I'm pushing 2 12' 08 kicker l7's and it slap! Makes them flex pretty damn good for only a 600 watt? I'm happy to have this amp
