I bought these speakers and had them hooked up to an Alpine T220. If you are just looking for some good speakers but don't want to invest in subs, then this would definately be the way to go. That is what I did and I am happy with it.

Very nice speakers. I paid $50 for a new set and 2 sealed 6x9 boxes with carpet. Not a bad price eh? These things are too loud. The tweeters are enough to hurt your ears. I have a boss 160x2 on these speakers and its only turned up to a quarter of the way because of such loudness it produces.

I really enjoy these speakers. They are very loud and accurate, and im only using a Kenwood headunit and my factory amp. The bass is enough to feel it in your seat, not even at high volumes. And like someone said b4, the tweeders are enough to really kill your ears, but i tuned my system to compensate for that. Great Bahns.

these speakers are great!! I have them hooked up to a rockford 400.4 they are crystal clear like keisha cole in my back seat!!! lol!
