I just purchased 2 of these badboys and they hit harder than hell, they sound good with any type of music. I'm runnin about 700 watts to each and they are crystal clear.....Highly recommend!
BOOM!!! This thing is an absolute monster sub. I have a kicker 1200.1 pushing it at full power. I'm suprised that it's not breaking my windows or shaking something loose. It hits harder, tighter, and louder than any sub I have ever heard.
best sub on the market... I have 3 of these in my trunk and if i could do it over i wouldent do it any differently...simply amazing
this isnt as loud as you think. people who think this is a loud sub just havent heard and really loud subs. this sub is pure sound quallity. The "strange surround" is an accordian surround that isnt for more cone area it is for better efficiency and higher frequency range. If you want a loud sub that still sounds great then get the type r. Better all around sub and get up to 150 dbs in a tcab box.
this sub is amaizing i have one in a hachback and it hits to its full potential total sound quality it covers freqiencies i cant even hear i just feal the vibration
people must not listen to these in their best enironment. with a ported enclosure and the right amount of power theses subs boom. they also have great sound quality. i went to a store and listened to them on a 500watt amp and it shook the floor. the guy said it can handle 3000watts and when you have all that power goin to it, itll shake windows. this is a great sub.
These subs are the best for their money i have 3 kenwood amps giving 850 RMS x 2 I'm running 6 of these off of the 3 amps. At 850 RMS to each these subs are so loud. If you have the money I would recomend getting these.
The sub is full of innovation such as the terminals, motor structure, and voice coil. SQ sub all the way, but not loud whatsoever for the money. Soundstream T5's will annhilate this sub in a DB drag without breaking a sweat. If you want SQ, its one of the best there is. If you want DB, don't waste your time, take it from a IASC DB drag winner.
